I've had a sewing machine for years but it usually only came out when I wanted to hem pants. Lately I've been going crazy with it, making all sorts of things. I'm really enjoying the hands on aspect.
If we had more room in our garage I might consider woodworking.
What's your hobby?
What would you like to try? What's holding you back?
Yoga and meditation, reading, sewing, gardening are really the only ones I have time for right now, and sewing and gardening tend to get the short end of the stick a lot of times. When DD was younger I was able to spend a lot more time sewing than I do now; it's just really hard to find big chunks of time to work on a messy sewing project with a toddler on the loose. I miss it a lot. Gardening I do make plenty of time for in the spring and summer; I had this awesome veggie garden from seed last year that I just loved.
I make a point to do yoga and meditate as often as I can, and I am a pretty serious reader (1-2 books a week).
I have tried knitting in the past but I had a hard time getting the hang of it, and I don't have time for it anyway. Sigh. Someday.
I really want to get back into taking some sort of exercise class. There's a pure barre studio really close to me and I have a background in ballet and dance.
I keep telling myself it's too expensive and I don't have time, but I think I'd love it. Two of my neighbors go.. I need to do it!

We all have the same 24 hours in a day!! You can do it!!
several- reading, baking, running, sewing. and I dabble in a lot of other artsy/ hands on things- a little wood working, a lot of crafty crap- painting/ scrapbooking. I really enjoy the woodworking- I built a couple small things for my kids- I would like to do more of it
Pre-baby I jogged and knit. It's really hard to find the time and energy to concentrate on these things now. Although I now have a very nice jogging stroller that I hope to put to good use when the snow and ice disappear.
I'd love to find a judo class (and have the $$) and get back into that.
I did some sewing for a while, but now we've got more people than our house comfortably holds, and there's no place for the sewing machine except the crawl space, so it gets very little use. I have tried to learn crochet from time to time.
Seems that for the moment my hobbies are still baby holding and meal planning. I'll get back into other stuff eventually though. Like exercising!
I have a loom, so in theory I weave. I just moved it to the dining room, so I will use it more. I am unhappy with my current project, but hopefully once I figure it out I will start again.
I don't know if it's a hobby or something more serious, but I love studying languages. Now I'm learning French and while my level isn't excellent I can say that I can maintain a conversation and understand almost everything on a text.
I should also start some physical activity because I see that my body needs it (slightly overweight and a complete lack of muscular tone) but I always find excuses like time, money, etc.

Do you teach yourself with books and an audio program, or do you take classes?
I run, sew, garden, and craft home decor, more because they are just things I feel like I need to do.
I like hiking, reading, random road trips to explore things most people don't care about, kayaking, and film photography. I'd love to have a darkroom someday. I use a Nikon FM2, but I'd love have some older equipment also.
