This is something straight out of The Walking Dead.
Makes you wonder what is organically wrong with this man -- on something? some type of brain disorder? Another weirdo bug/germ/virus like Mad Cow Disease?
And what slays me is that there is a video of this thing. Nothing is sacred; shut off the damn camera.

They are saying it was probably induced by the new drug they call "bath salts". Like Meth, it is cooked ay home and cheap and apparently makes you burn from the inside. People on it show super human strength, hallucinations, etc. There is no test for it, so no way of really knowing.

My officers arrested someone on bath salts last week and apparently the guy was Big Lurch style insane. That shit is scary. And we keep trying to criminalize them, only for manufacturers to change the compound.
I also lecture my clients about Spice. I've been known to tell them, off the record of course, that I'd rather the just fucking smoked pit instead of smoking spice.
Luckily the boys all seem to think bath salts are ridiculous. They'll all smoke spice when they can't get marijuana, though.
My understanding is that it's a manufactured drug containing synthetic THC, which is then sprayed on dried plant material and sold as incense and labeled not for human consumption. It contains more than just the synthetic THC, but because it's cooked up, there's no way to know for sure what else is in it.
Main issues seem to be: raising blood pressure and heart rate, potentially triggering a psychotic episode (because it's synthetic THC, it's apparently more potent), and some people have died after using spice. I think maybe seizures are another risk.
