No, she has not contacted me beyond telling me that the tracking showed the packaged delivered on December 30th (and it took me a couple of days to realize that this had been a Sunday). I still kind of believed it until that point.

She told me, and I quote, that it was 2 day priority mail. Then, when it didn't come after almost 3 weeks, I asked again what carrier and she said USPS.

No, it does not. And also, I live in an apartment building where all USPS parcels are put into lock boxes with the key in your letter box. So unless the mail carrier put the key in the wrong letter box (and no one said anything even though I know most of my neighbors), it could not have gone astray once delivered.
