My mom is in the hospital

Gah. She was in serious pain and they thought it was her gall bladder. Now they think she has a tumor (tumors?) on her uterus. My mom sounded ok when I spoke to her earlier. She said everything is fine, this isn't that serious, so on.

My sister thinks things are worse than my mom is admitting because my brother is a nervous wreck. So, either my brother is freaking out for nothing or things are worse than my mom admits to me and my brother knows about it.

I just want to know if I need to get a plane ticket and get out there. Ugh.

They are saying either tumors or cysts and since she's 46 and had her tubes tied, they are thinking about having her do a total hysterectomy.

Thanks, everyone. They have been running tests like crazy, but it's looking like something on her uterus. It's going to require surgery, but I guess now they are trying to figure out if she should just have them removed or have a hysterectomy.
