I use All Free and Clear and then Country Save on diapers. I like the smell of Tide or scented detergent on sheets, but don't use it much because my kids have super sensitive skin.
I had read something about Tide being stolen. It does seem strange.
I used to use Gain, mmmmm Apple Mango Tango. Recently I've been making my own. Similar recipe to what's already been posted. I add Purex Crystals to the recipe to get some scent.
Tide. Specifically, the baking soda and lavender one. It smells like my grandmother's summer home she had when I was tiny.
I tried Method and didn't mind it. I tried the one with the teddy bear on it and HATED it. But I keep switching back to Tide. The scent memory is worth the cost.
I use Tide exclusively, because my mother used Tide exclusively (despite us being poor and buying generic everything else). Cheap soap is a false economy. TIDE FOR LIFE!
This. Though DH prefers unscented. When we had a Costco membership, we used the Kirkland Free and Clear.
I often get random free shit in the mail (Dear Doctor: Use our stuff! Hand out free samples!). I get the sample packs of free & clear detergents (Dreft and All, I think) several times a year. I used to just use them. Now I see I should have just headed down to the 'hood with them taped up under a trenchcoat and started whisper chanting to people: "Gold. Got some good gold here. Just a quick taste. Mmm, liquid gold!"

We were using Ecos, but then switched to Eco Nuts. For a bit we used the Eco Nuts just for diaper laundry, but we use them for all our laundr now. I love that there is no large plastic bottle waste.
I use the All Free&Clear pods. I used to love Tide, but it irritated DDs skin when she was younger and I'm scared to try it again for fear of the same result. I get them in a super-pack at Costco
Arm & Hammer, since it's the cheapest name-brand at Shop Rite.
I've been using Arm and Hammer detergent for almost a decade. I really like their fragrance free detergent for the girls clothes, and the Oxyclean type for ours. For $8 you can buy a huge bottle that lasts for months even with washing every other day.
