If so, did you actually do it in 30 days? Did you do other stuff on those days/alternating days?
I just did it for the first time today, and thought it was pretty good. I love that it is a 20 minute workout I can do at home (although my dogs are hard to work out with, half the workout I swear I was getting dog kisses).
I run and do some other things too, and I'm not sure if I'm cheating myself to just do the 30 day shred a couple of days a week or if I should do it EVERY DAY and cut back a little on other workouts.
If you did it - did you see results? The reviews seem good but I have extreme exercise skepticism, brought on by the fact that I can run 4 miles now but still look/weight exactly the same as I did before I ran at all....
I did that when I lost my baby weight with DD1. I did all 30 days in a row and changed levels every 10 days. I used 3 lbs weights. I lost 18 lbs in the 30 days! It was awesome! I had a 40 lbs weight loss goal, so that was an amazing jump start.
It does get super boring, and even though I had such great success with it, I can't get myself to get into it again. As soon as I hear that music now, I want to die of boredom.

I didn't do an entire 30 days - I usually revert back to it when i'm injured, then when I can run again I quit doing 30DS.. There is no way I could do it every day. I usually get super sore, and doing it every day was just not an option.
I did nothing but run for 3 years. I recently quit running & started lifting... I'm finally starting to see some changes in my body. I'm not suggesting to quit running - just relating with you as far as not seeing any changes when only running.
I did the 30 Day Shred 2-3 times/ week for about 4 months before our wedding. I would usually do the 20 minute work out and then go for a 2-3 mile run afterwards. I would bicycle or walk the dog on the other days. My arms definitely became more toned and it was good to mix it up. I'm not sure what the results would have been if I did it every day (other than being super annoyed with Jillian Michaels).
Once I got the hang of things, I'd mute the TV and listen to my own music while following them on the screen. It helped me not murder the TV.
I used the video a lot, although didn't ever do the full 30 days. I usually use Jillian Michaels workout DVDs as a way to tone now that I no longer belong to a gym and don't go to weight training classes.
She is annoying. However, I do find her effective. If I haven't done one of her videos in a while, I am always super-sore the next day. I do believe it helps tone, particularly my legs. Wish it would tone mid-section more!
I do 30DS in between runs and yoga and mix in other Jillian Michaels DVDs. I've never done it for the 30 straight days, but did it at least 3 times a week for several months and really noticed a difference. I actually see ab muscles for the first time, like, ever.
I only did 20 days, and not over 20 days (ie, I had breaks in there). I lost 10 lbs and have kept it off until the holidays, when I put on 2. So I am going to jump back on the wagon.

I loved 30DS. I didn't do it for 30 days straight but used it 2-4 times per week and definitely felt that my body was tighter and in better shape. I loved that it was a quick workout but I could see results.
Thanks guys! Glad to know it will be effective even without doing EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm not sure I can commit to doing just that, I don't want to lose my running endurance and I know I will get bored. I think 2-3x a week is completely manageable and I may shoot for doing it as a second workout some days. I'm not sure I can do both the gym AND the DVD before work, maybe if it was nice out and I could run from home but traveling to the gym takes up too much extra time.
Here's hoping that adding some decent strength training into my cardio routine will actually help. Yay for being fit but I'm fit and frustrated
I have done 3DS before 30 days straight out, toned up a bit
For myself, lifting weights- heavier weight has helped me see dramatic results in the few months I have swapped my work outs. I used to do more cardio before, but now not as much.
