I was alternating between fascinated and angry the entire time I read TCOYF! How did I not know all of this stuff about my body? And why did no one tell me that this is how it works??
My randoms
1)We planned sex last night between dinner and watching the football game because we knew we would be too tired after the game but were too hungry before dinner! 2) I had a bad metro ride in this morning with regards to motion sickness. I'm quite worried how I'm going to handle metro plus morning sickness when I get pregnant!

Another nauseous metro rider weighing in. The jerky trains, lack of air circulation, and myriad of smells will do it to anyone. I was on the worst train yesterday.
Yesterday and today I felt slight pains & cramping on my left side, wondering if I'm Oing late (CD 20). I felt the same feeling on my right side last month.
I get so nauseous on the Metro too! Always seems worse right around O and then again before AF.
I thought is was random, but when I think about it I think I'm Oing now so now maybe not so random! I'm writing down all these suggestions too. Thanks!
I usually O on CD16-17, but one month did on CD19. Could also be phantom symptoms, lol.
Not charting, just starting to keep track. I'm not exactly sure what charting entails - taking temps? I was reading in TCOYF that our fluids change during our cycles. I have not been able to detect that though
I'm definitely feeling PMS-like symptoms though and I'm at least a week from my period.

I temp and use OPKs. OPK's tell you that your body is gearing up to ovulate, and temps confirm it. Wondfo brand from Amazon are a popular OPK.
Many women also see changes in cervical mucus (CM) during their cycle, with eggwhite CM happening around ovulation. CM can be pretty variable though so you have to get to know your own body.

I don't think an ear thermometer would be accurate enough. I use a bbt thermometer. They are inexpensive (under $10) and available at Target/Walmart/drug stores. I temp vaginally since I breathe through my mouth when I sleep and that messes with my oral temps.
