Despite spending money on a heated cat bed for her, our cat likes to sleep on top of the cable box. Today I walk in the bedroom and the cable box is covered with copious amounts of cat vomit.
The best part? It shorted out the cable box. :-( How do I explain that one to Comcast?

My fucking cat vomits on my down comforter every time. Now I pull it back and have a waterproof mattress pad on my bed so I can wash all of the bedding and mattress pad rather than the duvet cover and down comforter. So irritating.
My cat will start to throw up, so I will rush to grab a paper towel to catch it. She turns her head to the side to avoid the paper towel and get my carpeting.
If she likes the heat from the box I think that maybe one solution could be to switch it off when you go to be so it gets cold and she doesn't like it anymore. My cat likes to sleep next to my laptop when I'm using it and it's warm but not when it's not on.
A few months before I got married, I was sitting in the living room and heard the cat start to retch. I look over and he is sitting on the windowsill on top of one of the curtains. I grab him and try to run him over to the hardwood floors as he is still retching. He throws up as I'm running with him, directly into the box of wedding invitations that I was partially done addressing. Thankfully, I had enough extras that I could re-address invitations without cat vomit.
