What event are you training for/date? Chelanman 70.3 July 21!!
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sunday: off preparing for interviews, making a portfolio of work, super duper fun!! Monday: 8 mile run Tuesday: off , interviewing (I hate it when life gets in the way of working out!) Wednesday: one more interview, hoping to get in at least a short bike and maybe a run! Thursday: 45 minute bike, 40 minute run Friday: Open water swim Saturday: group ride 3+ hours
Any injuries or problems? weird aches and pains, mostly in my feet (heels), shoulders still sore, but only after swimming. I don't feel like I'm injured, just training harder and more than I have in a very long time!
Highlights from last week? First open water swim, super fun!! I'm excited for this Friday's swim!
If you were stuck on a desert island and you could only eat one fruit, what would it be? satsuma oranges
What event are you training for/date? Covered Bridge Half, SUNDAY!
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mostly resting, I did a 10 mile run over the weekend and this week I have just 2 or 3 really short easy runs
Any injuries or problems? it has been HOT and HUMID, so I have been sluggish.
Highlights from last week? Nothing really, glad I got in all my runs.
If you were stuck on a desert island and you could only eat one fruit, what would it be? Blueberries
What event are you training for/date? RNR VA Beach half marathon 9/2, Marine Corps Marathon 10/28
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon --rest due to travel Tues - 6M, Wed - 10 x 200, Thurs - 3M + Strength, Fri - rest, Sat - 7M, Sun - 40 min tempo
Any injuries or problems? just getting used to running in the warmer temps
Highlights from last week? I went to the gym while on vacation twice, including an 8-mile run on a treadmill while hungover!
If you were stuck on a desert island and you could only eat one fruit, what would it be? I've fallen in love with mangos over the past few months, I could eat them every day.
What event are you training for/date? Not really training for anything but I need to keep my base up and working on strengthening so it'll be easier to transition into training for my first marathon in Jan.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? T: leg workout/yoga stretches; W: 3 or 4 mile run; arm1 workout; R: 5 mile run; core workout; F off or yoga; S: 8-10 mile run; arm2 workout
Any injuries or problems? None
Highlights from last week? Survived my runs in the heat and I got up early for a couple of them (a big deal for me)

ETA: I feel weird calling it training when it's so far away but I guess it is.

What event are you training for/date? 1/2 marathon 7/14/12
What does your training schedule look like for the week? 5 tempo, 5 easy, 12 long, 1-2 XT workouts (crossfit-esque functional training group exercise classes)
Any injuries or problems? no
Highlights from last week? longest since i had baby #3, 11 miles. and it was hot and sticky and i maintained a 9:15 overall pace (1st 6 miles slower and last 5 at a comfortable pace)

What event are you training for/date? Whatever my first open water swim of the season will end up being. Probably something in July at 1.2 distance. Working towards 2.4 in August
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Run/walk x2 yesterday, swim 2200m today, boot camp and 1.5mi open water swim tomorrow, spin and core class on Friday, spin (??) on Saturday, Sunday is off day, Monday will be a group class focusing on strength training.
Any injuries or problems? None, although I've had some weird non-painful swelling in my left ankle for about 2-3 weeks now.
Highlights from last week? Learned to draft (properly) at last weeks OWS practice.
If you were stuck on a desert island and you could only eat one fruit, what would it be? Bananas. I love them and eat at least 1 per day.
