I wake up at 6:15, shower, dry hair, etc. Have breakfast and coffee around 7 and leave for work at 7:30. I work from 7:45-11:30/12. Come home for lunch, go back to work at 2:00. I finish work around 5:30/6 and get home about 15 minutes later. H and I eat around 7. The rest of the evening I watch tv/read.
I have no predictable schedule. When the park opens earlier, I try to go for a run before getting DD up and ready for school. But in winter, the park doesn't open until 8 or 8:15.
So, winter days look more or less like this: wake up around 7:30 or 7:45, get DD up for school at 8:00, get her out the door with DH (or take her myself) by 8:40, have from that time on to do whatever I need to do: work, socialize, work-out, errands, etc. Pick up DD at school at 3pm.
3pm-dinnertime is a crap shoot. I'm hanging out with DD, sometimes outside the house, sometimes inside, it depends. If I have work to do, I will usually get back to it after DD is in bed. If not, I read, watch movies, do whatever until DH gets home around 10 or 11.
I get up between 6 & 6.30, shower, dress, cereal and out the door 25 minutes later (30 mins if I wash my hair, which isn't every day). Cycle to work (mostly) and get in between 7 & 7.30 to my desk (20 min cycle, change). Work til 16.00 or so, though recently it has been at least 17.00 because I'm so busy. Half hour for lunch. Don't often see daylight during the winter months. Cycle home, maybe pick up N on the way (depending on the time and if DH is delayed), 25 min cycle home (uphill!). Play with her, get her tea ready, bed between 19.00 & 19.30. Get something for us to eat. Flake in front of the tv. Bed between 22.00 and 23.00 and then read for a little bit.
Ideal: wake up around 7.30, rush like crazy to be out the door by 8 with coffee inside me. (Fail 75% of the time) which would have me behind my computer at 8.45. Work til 5-ish, go home, play on computer, make dinner, DH comes home around 9, eat dinner, watch tv together.
More likely is to snooze my alarm 10 times and postpone everything 45 minutes. (Dinner will still be 9-9.30ish)
Wake up around 8, eat breakfast, get dressed, pack lunch. Headed to work by 9. Work until 6pm.
DH and I work on the same campus, so we try to go together, or at least drive home together in the evenings. Otherwise, one of us takes the shuttle. If it were up to him, he'd go to work at 10 and get home around 8pm.
Get home, cook dinner, eat, take a bath, watch a movie or tv. In bed around 10/11.
I get up at 0450 and teach online from 0500-0630/0700. Then I dress and drive to the university where I teach. I'm there from 0730/0800-1630/1700. I sometimes run errands after work, go home and make/eat dinner, or go to the gym. And after that, I take a hot bath and just relax for a bit (reading, consuming the internet, or watching a TV program), or grade papers if needs be until I pass out at 2230 or so.
My routine is currently changing, because I changed jobs.
Old: Set alarm for 7:45 and snooze until 8:15-ish. Shower, dress, and out the door around 9. Subway to work, arriving around 9:30. Work until 18:30 or 19:00. Subway home. Either make dinner or bake a frozen pizza and read or watch TV. Ideally start getting ready for bed around 22:45 and be in bed by 23:15, but in reality, be in bed around midnight or 1.
New: Set alarm for 7:00 and snooze until around 7:15. Have a cup of coffee, brush teeth, and get dressed. Out the door around 7:45 or 8:00. Subway to train station, train to the suburbs, bus to the office, arriving around 8:30 or 9:00. Work until 17:00-ish (I hope). Bus, train, subway home, getting back around 18:00. Cook, read, watch TV until 22:30. Shower, and try to be in bed by 23:30.
Alarm off at 07.30, snooze until 07.45. Get up, shower, dress, get H up. Donwstairs by 08.20, prepare take away breakfast/make coffee. Have coffee with H, head out by 09.00. At work by 09.30, out around 17.30, home by 18.00. Prep dinner, etc. Dinner around 20.00, watch tv, aim for bed around 22.30-23.00. Read a bit & hopefully sleeping before 23.30.
I have a routine for when I WAH and when I have to go into work.
WAH: Get up at 8am, feed the cat and make lunch for H. Have some coffee or tea, run, shower and get ready. Run errands if necessary, do house work, and then work on dissertation (ideally but often I procrastinate). Some days some time is devoted to writing up minutes and other work I do for my political party. Make dinner and eat between 7 and 8pm. After dinner I do dishes and watch TV or a movie or read.
Work: Get up at 7am, make lunch for myself, feed the cat and eat some yogurt. Shower, get dressed, and drink some coffee while I put on make-up. Bike to work. Work from 8am till 1 or 2pm depending on how busy it is (I have flex schedules). Bike home, have lunch, work on dissertation. Cook dinner. Eat dinner around 7-8pm.
Some days a week I also have political meetings at night. Those usually start at 8pm and end somewhere around 10 or 11pm. I think I spend about 10-20 hours a week on the political party in addition to work, dissertation and house work.
Currently: Wake up around 5am, feed the dog and walk her, at work by 8am, home around 5pm, dinner by 6pm, errands/hang out/wfh (if needed) for the rest of the night.
I imagine that my schedule will change quite a bit once we get to London.

Mon - Fri (typical): 6am wake-up, shower, eat, feed dog, take off by 7am, arrive around 7:30 and work until 4pm (range of 3:45 to 5:30). I usually have 30 min on average for lunch, though sometimes it's eat in 5 or sometimes I have a bit longer. I go home, do work, watch tv, play with dog, eat dinner, play hockey, etc., depending on what my needs are that day.
It changes from time to time but right now, I've been waking up about 8 am. Shower. Eat a breakfast/lunch combo to get my blood sugar up. Work from about 10 am to 5 or 6 pm sometimes later. There are some days where I'll have a 15 min snack break but not too often. When doing a major project, I've been known to work from 8:30 or 9 am until 8 pm or so.
After work, I'll hang out with the SO or go out with friends/be social for the evening depending on plans. The week night tv I watch is generally the news or very news-centric, though sometimes I will watch random funny things, whether on tv or the internet. I don't really watch series TV for the most part (recently gorging myself on Downton Abbey was an exception ). There are other events and random things that I will do sometimes.
Dinner is around 7-8 pm. I go to sleep anywhere between 10 pm and midnight. (I've been sleeping more in the winter lately, I don't normally sleep as much as I have been recently. It will probably shift back to less sleep soon.)

Okay, I'm not entirely sure yet. I've been here six weeks. The first two were a blur, the next was "normal" but also full of culture shock, the next two were the holidays, and this past week Ryan's grandma came to stay which changed most things. Aaand yesterday our dog came to stay!! (We changed her name from Rani to Nellie.) So she'll be changing it.
But I have an idea of how weekdays are *supposed* to go: I wake up before 7:30 (sometimes 6, sometimes 7:10 but I'm usually awake by 7:30.) I would let the dog out. I don't usually leave my room until 7:45-8:30, depending on how slow I'm moving/if I take time to dress and make my bed prior to breakfast or after. I eat with Ryan's parents, then they leave for work 8:45-9:20 depending on their own slowness. Oh! And I have a small morning window where I can communicate with family/friends back home before they go to bed, but it closes by the time Ryan's parents leave.
Then from 9:30-2ish I accomplish most of what I can during the day. I choose and prioritize from this list: prayer and Bible study, Hindi lessons, working on my blog, exercise, going to the park to paint, going to the market, laundry, and other household chores. And now tending to the dog's needs. Oh, and one of the servants is supposed to come around 11am (but often skips) and so that limits things because I need to be here to let her in.
From 1:30-3:30 Ryan wakes up. He works nights and gets home at 4:30 am. Sometimes he goes to bed right away (and wakes up at 1:30) and other times he doesn't.
Servants come around 2-4, so we have to be there. Ryan and I get some time together, then at around 5:30-6:30 he gets ready for work. He leaves 6:30-7, and his parents get home at 6:30ish.
Then I eat dinner with his folks, then either we go out in the evening or I do something like watch a movie, work on my blog (if I didn't get to it before) or talk to home.
Then I go to bed around 9-10, but read or play on my phone for at least an hour before I go to sleep.
0800 get up, get ready 0830 make a little breakfast, walk up stairs (I work from home) 0900 log on, answer a few emails, maybe a conference call with a client. 1000 get distracted by laundry, ukulele, lunch, something on netflix until 1600 1600 get an hour's work done 1700 think about what's for dinner, but search for european weekend breaks instead 1800 answer a few emails, pretend to have worked all day, and feel stressed that I've done nothing. go make dinner and decide to be more dedicated tomorrow. 1900 dinner. 2000 watch endless shite on TV until midnight.
How about you?
What happens to the kids in the middle of the day?

They go home for lunch! When we were in the mountains we lived right next to a school. They all walk home for lunch and come back in the late afternoon. THey might have something different at pistache's school. But that's how it worked in the village we lived in. I never paid attention much to the school in Zurich since it was a little further down. It's incredibly hard to have two working parents in Switzerland.
