Is anyone interested in a weight loss check in? I know a lot of us wanted to shed a few pounds this year and since we're a week into th new year, I figured it would be a good time for a check in.
Either that or I just wanted to AW myself .
I lost five pounds this week! Granted, I had the flu for two days, so I'm sure that contributed. I've been tracking diligently in MFP and honestly haven't found it hard to stay under my calories. I am so glad I saw a big loss week 1 to keep me motivated.
I had a horrible eating day on Saturday. We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant, got frozen custard, then ended up going out to dinner. When I logged it all in MFP, it told me that if I ate every single day like that day, I would gain 10 pounds in 5 weeks. Oops.
I've lost about 2 lbs. I've had a lot of fluctuation, mostly because I weighed once at my dr's office (full clothes, including heavy winter boots, a coat and my regular clothes), and then twice at home (pre shower, no clothing).
I think I need a new scale. I know some fluctuation is normal, but in the same 5 minutes it will tell me 3 different weights, with a range of about 15 lbs sometimes! I wish I could lose weight that quickly.

I just started my plan of action on Monday. So far (only 2.5 days- I know) so good. I am using mfp and working out. I am excited to get to the gym today even though my arse is so sore! lol
Started WW in Sept. My loss so far is 10.6 pounds. My weigh in for this week is tomorrow..hoping for a 1 pound loss. It's coming off slower then I hoped but at least it's coming off.
I'm getting back to my healthy lifestyle so I can get back to where I was a year ago. I slacked over the summer and even fall so I need to move it. I gained maybe 10-15 lbs. It's hard to say because my clothes still fit, but are tight/pull awkwardly.
Things are going well, though! I did a leek soup fast over the weekend and ran Monday and Tuesday. I've also already planned out my splurges for the week with all the dining out I'm doing so that nothing surprises me/I ruin my healthy eating.
I am up for a check-in! I lost 1.8 this week. My goal was just to track everything and not worry about the calories/fat grams yet...just see what I do in a typical day and track every last bite of it. So far, I've logged into MyFitnessPal for 10 days in a row!
Man, I am so cynical/discouraged. Instead of being happy for others losing weight, I'm annoyed at my own lack of progress. IDK if I can do a check in or not.
FWIW I may be down a pound, but I am guessing if I weigh myself tomorrow I won't be anymore. I was today, woohoo. I worked out 6 of the last 7 days and while eating hasn't been perfect, it has been improved over usual and I've been tracking as much as I can. I'm hoping I'll finally lose something, but any hopes of having any sort of big loss in a week are nil for me.
