I threw up on the bus to work. Into my hand and all over my sweater and pants. GROSS. And the nearest department store doesn't open for over an hour. :-(
I'm still on the bus, going to run into work to clean up and throw out the sweater then either go buy another outfit or go home. Luckily I feel about 1000x better.
I am so sorry If you have a lot of trouble with m/s, be sure to call your ob. I powered through it, too, but really should have called when I had to run out of my classroom twice during a 45-minute observation to puke. In the moment I was all "it's not that bad, I can deal with it" but looking back, I should have just called and had her put me on anti-nausea meds.
Oh no! That sounds awful. I threw up a few times while I riding/driving in the car and that was bad enough, how awful to do it on the bus on the way to work.
I started keeping a paper bag lined with a plastic bag in my car for this purpose.
I did this on a plane, after being told by the stewardess to sit back down because the seatbelt light was on. I tried grabbing for the stupid little baggy, but I wasn't quick enough. half went into baggy, the rest in my lap.
Thanks everyone. Thank god no one was sitting beside me, and I was able to brush my teeth and get a new outfit. I also told my boss I'm pregnant, since I had to leave right after getting to work. I'm 12 weeks, and that was actually the first time I've thrown up at all, although I have had several other close calls on the bus.
