She is turning 3 this weekend, but you would think she was turning 13. She has told me no less than 3 times in the last half hour to "leave her alone."
Oh yes, that is one of her favorite things to say!
Also, I am a terrible mother. She was whining a me that she was hungry even though she had just ate breakfast as we were trying to get out the door. So I gave her a cookie. That she proceeded to lick and throw at me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I can't tell you how many times mine says 'No, mommy! I no want you!' If she is like this now, how bad will it be when she's a teen? I don't think there is enough alcohol in the world for those years.

LMAO. My 3yr niece tells my sister "don't do that anymore". So bossy.
I'm sorry I'm sure this isn't funny when it's happening to you, but this thread is hysterical. I only have my 8 mo, but a friend of mine posts funny quotes from her 3 yo on Facebook all of the time. One of my favorites was when my friend stepped on her dd's toy:
Friend: ouch! Dd please pick up your dinosaur. I just stepped on it and hurt my foot.
DD: well mom, maybe if you would have watched where you put your big foot, you wouldn't have stepped on my dinosaur.

Last year I was visiting my friend in Austin and her son wasn't happy about something. He was taught in nursery school to use his words, so he kept saying, "I'm mad, Mommy. Mad. Mad. Mad." I thought it was hilarious! I also kept baiting him, I kept saying, "what are you, Carter?"

My DD has been an absolute beast these last couple days and I've been horrified, thinking that this is my life now. But then today I saw some red spots in her mouth so I think she may have contracted Hand Foot & Mouth. There was a notice at the gym that there had been an exposure. I'm ashamed at how relieved I am. Cheers!
