I am on month 3 of charting. I have had pretty normal cycles since coming off the pill in October, except that my periods have been very light spotting and no bright red blood 8-D I am hoping my body is still just regulating itself until this cycle has gone completely wonky on me ^o) According to my chart I ovulated on day 10 which seems ridiculous, but my temps have been all over the place. What gives?
Do you take your temp at the same time every morning?? The circles that are not blue tend to be that way because the temp is taken at a different time. That can really throw off your chart.

Do you use OPKs? Agree that the open circles might be the issue. While some women can be less rigid about when they temp, I think others have to be more consistent.

I normally take my temp at the same time every weekday, let it slide on the weekends a bit. But last month when I temped later than normal the difference didn't seem to be as big. I just started OPK's this month so hopefully I can figure out when I actually ovulate since I am pretty positive FF is wrong this time around.
What CD did you O the other months? The chart doesn't look all that strange to me. You can just O early in your cycle. Do you know why you have all the open circles. So many open circles might be the reason that you have dotted crosslines. The chart in itself so far looks pretty normal to me. There's an obvious temp shift on CD12. I'd say you did indeed O on CD10 or 11.
A couple of months after I came off BC, I O'ed on CD10. It can definitely happen. Now I tend to O between CD12-CD14. But even if you consistently O on CD10, in many (if not most) cases that is not a problem in and of itself when it comes to TTC.
The open circles are a problem - despite the clear temp shift, if you slept much later those days they may not be that accurate. I still take my temp at 4:45 am on the weekends to make sure that my chart is as accurate as possible, and then I just re-set my alarm and fall back asleep for a few more hours. Can you try that and see if that helps make your chart more accurate?

Take a look at my charts in my siggy. I was all over the place for the first couple months after coming off bc a little later than you. This is the first month things look somewhat normal. I know how frustrating it is but your body is just trying to figure out wtf is going on w/o exteranl hormones helping. On another note it is necessary for me to take my temp at the same time and when I first wake up. No potty breaks or anything first!

thanks for all the replies ladies! I will be testing more on schedule so it is consistent everyday. I also started OPKs this week and got a + this morning so I am assuming that today is the day! It's just weird because for the past 3 days my temp has been 98.5 but today was the only day I got a + OPK.
