I have my first OB appointment and ultrasound today at 4pm. I'm a 50/50 mix of incredibly excited and incredibly scared. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. It was at about 11 weeks that I had my loss this fall. I really hope everything goes well this afternoon!!

Good Luck Rose!
I am starting the dreadfull heartburn stage, I thought that it would come later than it did oh well, it will be worth it in the end!
I am super excited for my business trip next week, not because of the business part of it, but because my BFF lives 1/2 hour from the conference center and I don't get to see her as often as I would like. We both announced at Christmas that we were expecting, so our weekend will be filled with baby shopping!
Good luck Rose!! My job today is completely boring as I have to administer standardized testing (on the computer) to my classes. Tomorrow is another "wasted" day b/c its a college/career access day where I basically supervise a speaker for the majority of my day in my room with random students coming into sessions. I can't wait until next week when I get to teach my classes again!

GL Rose!
I'm just ready for the weekend. I'm still fighting this damn cold after 3 weeks and since DH will be gone this weekend I will not get out of bed. Except to go to Target because I've gone up yet another cup size. DD bras here I come!

Good luck, Rose!
We are doing family pictures this weekend. My family decided we would do jeans and a sweater. I HATE jeans, even while not pregnant. Now, I have too much of a belly for my favorite pair of jeans, and I wasn't really planning on buying maternity jeans.
I feel like I'm at the point in pregnancy where I look like I'm either pregnant or I should lay off the cookies and beer. I just don't know what to wear.
I'm nauseated again least favorite symptom (or it's tied with the mood swings anyway).
I have my NT scan in an hour! I'm nervous. I haven't gained any weight yet which is great, but today is making me irrationally worried that the baby isn't growing or something.
Joolz - I bought some maternity jeans from gap last week and I love them. Especially the long and lean full panels. And their gap fit tanks are great.
Do they stretch out a lot when you wear them? That's my main issue with regular Gap jeans. I need a pair of skinny jeans though, and I'll probably buy them there unless I find a super clearance pair at Pea in the Pod.
And hot tip on the tanks. I do need more basic tees and tanks for sure.
Ugh, and Vino, my family is taking a trip together in February and I just booked a photographer to come do beach shots. Why, when I will be 27 weeks pregnant? I mean, it's a great occasion and it makes perfect sense, etc., I'm just meh about it.

Good luck, Lorelai!
They do stretch but not as bad as the ones I got from motherhood maternity. And the quality seems better. The panel is a nice thin stretchy material. Much nicer than the thick one on the h&m jeans i had last time. They were on sale for $35.

Wait, will you be in a bathing suit? That would not fly with me.
My sister is 30 weeks or so. She has a cute bump. I'm 14 weeks. I literally look like I have a beer belly. But maternity pictures, in general, don't really appeal to me. I like seeing other people's maternity pictures, though.
Also, I thought I was going to get away with no m/s. I felt pretty good up until about a week ago, when I started getting increasingly nauseated. This morning I threw up all over myself and the floor I hope a later start doesn't mean it's going to hang around longer!
I don't know. Maybe? Probably for some of the shots. I'm okay with it except when I think too much about it. I will just keep going to the gym and eating reasonably well for the next month. Then all bets are off. Haha.
I didn't do maternity shots last time and I sort of regret not having very many pictures of me with mah belly, so I am doing a family shoot with my husband and kid around 31 weeks. It won't be strictly maternity shots, which are 100% not my style.

GL Lorelai.
Ditto about the Gap jeans. I have the boot cut sexy and another pair. I love my full panel ones but don't like the demi panel. It rolls down and it super annoying. They are by far better made than my ON jeans.
Ok good to know you guys! I am excited about some Gap skinny jeans. It means I can stop wearing my regular skinny jeans with hair tie and belly band. Word.
Now if only there could be a 30% off coupon in my inbox for them today or tomorrow!

GL Rose and Lorelai!
Question for those with the Gap jeans: Did you buy your regular pre-pregnancy size? And did the length shrink at all? The store didn't have my size yesterday so I tried on the next size up for the hell of it. They were huuuuuge and anything but skinny.

I was sent home from work today to put my feet up and take a bath. I woke up with cramps and then when I got to work noticed a sharp pain in my lower right side. I just woke up from a nap and when I peed it caused the cramps to shoot up my stomach....so now I'm waiting for a callback from my doctor.

I feel like I'm showing sooo much sooner with this pregnancy. I know I wasn't showing at this time before, and now it's very obvious that I'm pregnant, which is awesome. I'm also starting to feel kicks more consistently so there's some relief there as well. Yay progress!
