I am looking to replace double cell honeycomb shades for my kids' playroom. Even online, its crazy expensive. I am in Canada so my options are more limited but I looked at blinds.com, blindstogo, and selectblinds. If it's significant savings, I can have the blinds shipped to my parents in Arizona. (I worry then that about returning them if they don't fit correctly).
For my three windows, its close to $700. I want cordless top-down/bottom-up but that option adds a lot of $$ to the price. ($55 per blind).

I just ordered silk roman shades for our 2 bedroom windows as well as a roman shade for the small window in our laundry room. I don't have them yet, but they were $600-700 from select blinds, which was a significant savings from Lowes an The Home Depot. But I can't really attest to their quality yet...
$700 sounds about right. I used Home Depot and bought Bali brands custom blinds on sale with my new homeowner coupon. I paid around $600 or so for 4 standard sized windows.
Thanks ladies. When I last bought blinds (6 years ago), selectblinds was way cheaper than Home Depot. I also have not been pleased with home depot blinds so wanted to stay away from them. Have not looked at lowes, as it's a 45 minute drive from my house.
The windows are 70" tall, which is not helping. I will check out your alternate recommendations and if nothing is better, just order from select blinds.
I may give up my the top-down/bottom up option to save $$. But since the windows are so tall, we do use that feature a lot.
