I have a pair of shoes in my mind, (never have seen them) Guess I designed them in my imagination and have looked EVERY WHERE for these non-existant shoes to no avail! LOL

Black sorta gladiator sandals, with a strip across the foot (up on the top of the foot from toes to ankle) and zipper on the back of the ankle with a thick heel, not too high.

This happens to me ALL.THE.TIME, I imagine things in my sleep, I guess, and then can NEVER find it in stores.

I do it with clothes and if I find the piece it's usually more than I want to spend. It's led to me taking up sewing again and starting to learn pattern making. I see something I like, but think I would love it if X was done differently.

Nothing really unique, just either the heel is too high or not high enough, or it has straps but not the T strap, or it has everything but not the zipper on the back of the ankle.

If I find something close, I will post it so you gals can see it because y'all are great at helping find things online.

I've been looking for a shoe like this too, to wear with black skinnies. Target made a pair at least a year ago, but I never got them.

I have a pair like this but the heel is super high. I honestly have only worn them once or twice b/c my pair look kinda dominatrix-ish. I got them at DSW.

Yes, I make up clothes all the time in my brain and then can't find them. I figure I must see them on someone around and then it pops into my brain later.

I try to "barter" with the stores in my mind too. I'm lik "Mall, I'm here. I will give you money if you give me the shoe. Please just have the shoe!!".
