It's not my style but I'm drooling at the price. I can't believe you can get that for 1.5 mil.
That's what gets me too! And the view. I think the view alone is worth a pretty penny. But I am not into that style decor. I don't like the modern look, I like a more traditional look. Doesn't really matter since I'm not going to be buying a 1.5 million dollar house anytime soon.
Meh. Sure, it's nice, but it just seems really big and way too beige for me. But if you love it, go for it.
LOL. It's not something I'm interested in purchasing, but I appreciate your approval. I think the custom details are over the top. But if I did have 1.5 mill and wanted to purchase, I'd definitely hire a painter.
ETA: Lovetrains, aren't you the one who was waiting on the short sale? We walked from one early last year and then the market picked back up. ;(
Vegas, I got the short sale! Woot. We closed 11/7.
I know you have been looking for a long time, I am sure something will turn up for you soon!
Nice! I missed that pos t! I remember posting something really discouraging in response to your question about short sales, mainly because of what we were going through at the time. I'm so glad it worked out for you.
This house is more just house porn. Way over budget and too modern, but I'd kill for a home with that lot size (big for Vegas) and view. And I LOVE the sliding doors and windows that make for an indoor/outdoor living area.
It's a little too Real Housewives of the OC for my tastes, but those views are incredible.
Not good to look at during a week when I've decided that we'll probably never be able to buy anything we'd actually want to live in in a neighborhood we'd actually want to live in!

This 100%. And way too beige. The master closet is nice though!
v, I understand your pain; I have so many friends in the same situation. Some have resigned themselves to renting forever, some have scarily large mortgages, some have moved a little further out, and some have gone upstate. There's no perfect solution. Well, except for immense wealth. lol.

If I still lived in Phoenix, that is somethign I would be drawn too lol. Although, we just visited back home and I realized how much I really hate tile floors. They wind up being cold and I feel like they make the entire house echo? I get that the point is for them to be cooler, but I don't know now that most houses i see are hardwood I like that way better.

I think most of my friends homes have a mix of tile and hardwood. I prefer cleaning and maintaining tile but I like the look of hardwood.

I didn't know you used to live in Phoenix!
Yeah, lived there for 24 years or so ;D I do agree that cleaning/maintaing tile is easier. I just was exhausted after I spent a week preventing DS from cracking his head open on my brother's tile floor lol. I think if we lived there I would put an helmet on him ha ha.
