I'm 5 weeks 4 days. Suddenly, everything is making me gag. Opening the fridge. Washing my hands. No actual vomiting yet. Now it has settled into nausea and mega heartburn. It has been an all day thing.
I should probably take my prenatal since my diet of cheez-its prob is not very nutritious.

I have started nibbling on some saltines. Not too many at once though. I feel like if I leave the sleeve of saltines out on my desk that will scream PREGNANT, amiright?
I'm so excited because I just found preggie pops at the store last night! I didn't think I could find them here. Haven't tried them yet, but a lot of ladies swear by 'em. Might be worth a shot!
Sounds like it to me! Nausea was my first symptom and I didn't actually puke for another couple weeks. Now the nausea has settled down but I'm still puking at random times.
I've heard of those preggo pops. I think I saw them at our BRU, but I didn't know if they'd work so I didn't buy any. Keeping my stomach filled is what seemed to work best for me. Although, nothing really got rid of it completely

I was nauseous but I never gagged or threw up. My stomach just felt like crap 24/7 for about three weeks. I was really frustrated because I didn't feel like eating anything and nothing made me feel better. I ended up eating a lot of saltines and fruit.
I had mild nausea for a couple of weeks starting around week 5. The last two weeks, it's escalated into some gagging, and I finally threw up yesterday. It doesn't take much. I still have an appetite for breakfast and lunch, but by dinner, I can only stomach a few bites.
I snack all day rather than eating big meals - I bring a variety of stuff as I never know what will actually sound good. Baby carrots, hummus, those Pirate Booty cheese puffs, a Fiber One bar, cheese sticks, yogurt, and some Wheat Thins are usually all in my snack bag. Some days I eat it all, some days I eat hardly any.

I had it nausea from 6-9 weeks and couldn't look at meat or fish, or vegetables. I basically lived on cheese sandwiches, fruit and junk food for a few weeks and I still felt sick to my stomach every time I ate, but I never vomited. Taking your prenatal with food really helps.
I've been feeling much better the last few days and am back to eating much more healthy options. Hopefully yours will be short-lived!

I have the preggie pops - they work okay. Jolly Ranchers work about the same and cost less.
I've also tried ginger and Sea Bands - not really much relief there.
I was having such bad nausea that my doctor told me to try half of a Unisom (the regular kind, not the fast melts) and one 25 mg B6 vitamin (I found it on Amazon) before bed. Holy cow - I feel like a new person. I took a sliver of the Unisom last night and cannot believe how much better I feel today. Barely any nausea and I could actually coffee this morning - which has been a major aversion for me! I haven't had coffee in 8 weeks!

For those of you that live near a Wegmans, I found the YummyEarth Organic Lollipops there. I haven't tried preggie pops, but I think these should be just as good, and they're not as bad for you as regular candies, i.e. no artificial dyes, HFCS.
