I'm reading A Storm of Swords (GoT #3) and I swear these books keep getting better! I'm making slow progress due to a busy week, unfortunately.
I'm listening to Coal: A Human History by Barbara Freese. It's not exactly something that keeps you on the edge of your seat, but I love history and I grew up and still live in coal country, so it's interesting to me.

I'm reading 11/22/63 and really liking it so far. So happy I took the the boards' suggestion. I also tried reading One Second After. Not sure if it was the epub or just the book in general but I couldn't keeping going after three chapters. I was editing more than I was reading and I edit all day long. So bummed because others were raving about it.
I'm reading The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey, the second in a middle-grade trilogy. It's fun. I haven't picked up Lost Antarctica in quite a while, but in theory I'm still reading that too.
I'm reading The Paris Wife. I'm not usually one for fiction but I was at an airport and worried that the book I had with me wouldn't last, so I grabbed it. The most I've gotten out of it so far is that I want to hike the Great St. Bernard Pass!
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain
I am reading Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah. I have really enjoyed it, I like books set in war time periods. Plus the fairy tale/real aspect of the story is interesting.

Alright, I went to the library and ended up with The Stranger by Albert Camus. I am already 50 pages in and really like it. The narrator is very disengaged with his world and the way it is written to represent this is stylistically very interesting to me. I think most other people might find it annoying, though.

I read this junior year in high school and actually really enjoyed it. One of the better reads that year, outside of Shakespeare and Kafka.

I'm (slowly) reading War Brides. A friend recommended it. It was a little slow starting, but it's getting pretty interesting. I need to finish it soon though so FI can get a book from Amazon before our Prime trial is up! We are thinking of continuing it but don't have the extra money at the moment.
I'm in the middle of Chesapeake (Michener) still, that is going on a year... More recently I'm reading A Prayer for Owen Meany and am really enjoying it! And finally I began Don Quixote this year and am about 70 pages in. Also really enjoying it, I have actually lol'd several times.
Looking at my choices it is clear that I prefer loooong books!

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on A Prayer for Owen Meany when you've finished it. I've had it sitting on my bookshelf for close to 2 years now and haven't picked it up yet
