I feel like I cannot eat enough. I'm eating healthy as I usually do but all I really want is chocolate and french fries...
I also feel like I'm burping air all day...and sometimes I want to throw up, but I'm not really nauseated or dizzy so much as my stomach feels wonky.
Is this my version of m/s or something? How many ladies on here sailed through the first tri without puking, but with just some mild nausea here and there? And was anyone else always starving?

From weeks 6 to 9, I was nauseous but never puked. However, I did not feel like eating at all because my stomach felt like crap all day. I lived on saltines and fruit.

I was really hungry the first few weeks too, and my MS didn't really kick in until later (more around 9 weeks, full force around 12) No vomiting, just always feeling like I needed to.
I never had m/s (YEAH!) but was gassy and bloated bad the first tri and into start of second so I completely understand burping air. It was gross feeling, but better than puking.
That will go away. I had a few weeks of that ravenous hunger that could not be satiated at all. Then it kind of tapered off and now my appetite is back to normal. But it was a TOTAL PITA. It's hard to basically have to plan your life around food like that!
I never had any m/s, but was definitely hungry all the time. I made sure to graze constantly throughout the day - nuts, fruit, yogurt, cheese, crackers - otherwise I felt lightheaded.

I have had some yucky m/s the last few weeks, including vomiting. No bueno.
I am constantly hungry, like belly grumbling hungry. But most food makes me want to gag. But if I let my tummy be empty then all hell breaks loose. It is seriously a pain in the ass. Hoping it starts subsiding soon.

Oh, and I totally have the burping thing. I seriously burp all. the. time.
Coincidentally, my preg app today addressed this issue. "During preg you have higher levels of progesterone, which relaxes smooth muscle tissue, including your gastrointestinal tract. It slows digestion, which causes more gas, bloating, burning, flatulance, and general miserable sensations in your gut". Interesting!

omg this is all so helpful/reassuring! Esp those that didn't have m/s...I can handle nausea, but I'd rather skip the throwing up if poss. I just keep thinking that old theory about m/s=healthy pregnancy, so I feel a bit freaked out that I'm not puking. I am fully aware that is not true. Thanks guys!

I burp all the time too. As much as I hated puking, I'd usually puke first thing in the morning and then feel great. When I was nauseous it lasted all day :/

I'm hungry all the time, now that I can keep things down. Although I still can't eat some things (chicken, pizza, most pasta/sauces). Plus I work night shift so I'm always hungry at weird times anyway.
