When did your jeans/pants start feeling too tight?
I haven't gained any weight but my belly has definitely pudged up and, as of today, my jeans are officially annoying me even with a hair tie at the waist.
It seems early for this to be happening! I'm only 10 weeks...

I'd say that's pretty normal. At this point it is still bloat and not baby, but its real nonetheless. With my son, I was using a hair tie by 9 weeks and felt ridiculous when I switched to maternity pants about week 12.
How's this for a confession: I have no idea if my pants are getting too tight because I've been wearing nothing but sweats and yoga pants for two weeks straight. lol Damn that makes me sound like a bum. I have put on jeans a few times to run errands, but they were jeans that have always been a size to big that require a belt so they weren't snug at all yet. I am ignorant to my bloat, wheeee!

I was pretty bloated from weeks 8-10 and needed to do the whole hairtie and/or belly band thing... from weeks 10-14.5 I didn't need anything, but I can feel my ute up higher now where it will remain so I have the hair tie and belly band around my jeans today (frist day since week 10).

I refuse to give in to maternity pants yet! I'm going to tough it out and see if the bloat gets any better in the next few weeks. I have a belly band so I think I'll start using that instead of the hair tie. I guess this happens earlier than I though Being a first timer I figured I'd just sail through to about 20 weeks before this happened. Ha!
I started bloating very badly before my bfp. Within a week or so I was doing the hair band trick. It worked okay, but uncomfortable and I had to completely undo them to eat. I was in maternity pants at right about 12 weeks. OMG. So much better! Just give in.
I have a couple pair of jeans that need a hair tie. And a couple pairs that fit just fine still, although, I can kind of feel them start to get a little tighter in the waist. My stomach gets bigger throughout the day from bloat, and then when I wake up in the morning it's back to normal
Oh honey. Welcome to my world. I thiiiink my skinny jeans might still work with the hair tie but I haven't worn them for a couple weeks so maybe not. I am officially down to one pair of nonskinny jeans...hence my shopping trip for maternity pants tomorrow with my ma.

I can still wear my pants, but I'm thinking about buying maternity pants. Im 14w3d, and I've definitely developed a little pooch over the past few days. It gets worse with bloat, but a little bump is always there, and I feel like I kind of spill over my pants. If maternity pants would smooth everything out, I would be in them.

I'm 9 weeks and have gained two pounds so far- which has settled right around my waist! I was shocked that it was only two lbs because it feels like ten. My low rise jeans are okay because they hit under the bloat but my regular jeans that are higher rise are getting snug. I had to use a rubberband yesterday.

Aw, fun shopping trip.
I just found my parents are coming to visit at the end of January so I think I'm going to do that with my Ma (I thought this was a Dublin thing!!) then too.
I had some pretty serious bloat like weeks 5 and 6, and pants were NOT comfortable. It's calmed down a little, but I confess that I wore maternity pants for funsies the other day. I'd ordered a couple of pairs on clearance, and when I went to try them on in the morning, I was like THESE ARE NEVER LEAVING MY BODY!!!
I'm hoping I don't HAVE to bust them out for at least a few more weeks, but by the end of the day I'm usually driving home with my pants unbuttoned. Aaaaaahhhh. Sweet relief.

Yay for your mom and dad coming to visit!!! I bet Midley will be so excited to have more people around to love them And trust me, if I find anything particularly horrendous there will be pictures taken and posted on FB.
I bet Ma is definitely a Dublin thing...but somehow I picked it up from one of my BFFs who is as far from a Dubliner as you can get (she's Indian).

Oh yeah, they're whores for attention, especially Mabey. Have fun with your mom. Can't wait to see pics. Also, I'll need recommendations. I love that you're blazing the trail for me and JS being 2 weeks ahead
