My BMB is currently waging a debate about kissing your baby on the mouth AND breastfeeding in public (May 2013). Sigh.

Oh lord yes. I was over there briefly before I realized this board was on GBCN (how I didn't notice it sooner with as much time as I've spent on H&F which is one freaking line below GP in the menu, I'll never know) and was SO relieved. March has been kind of tame lately. It's sad, I have nothing entertaining to link to over here. The crazy should ramp up when we get closer and people start freaking out about labor, I think.

I have only checked out Aug13 on TB a couple times. I have little desire to post there. Sometimes it's nice to have people who are at the same point of pregnancy that you are, but weeding through the dumb posts is tiring.

It's true. The lull between the NT and anatomy scans and the OMG am I in LABOR?!!!? is really boring. Too many posts about the glucose test, not enough drama.

Facebook groups never remain sane. Giving people my real identity is not something I do just because we get knocked up at the same time.

I'm on September 13 (so at most, people are 7ish weeks). One person complained because their hospital supposedly won't follow their natural birth plan and another was talking about taking the hospital tour. Let's get through the first trimester maybe?

Not to mention the crazy that surrounds flu shot discussions.

Last time I was pg I stupidly joined a FB group for my birth month, and pregnant after a loss and OMG those ladies were nuts. I had another loss, but stayed in the group until I would have been about 20 weeks. One lady never went to the doctor, and another posted about her anatomy scan and I swear said "crotch shot" at least 15 times. It was so weird, after the AS lady I left the group.

I remember when I was something like 9 weeks, someone due around the same time I was was asking about whether or not she should wear a bra to delivery.

Um... YOU ARE NINE WEEKS PREGNANT!
