Hi, ladies! Has anyone had what I'd term "heavy spotting" but no real period?

I had spotting two days before my period was due and just assumed it was on the way. It turned from brown to red the next day, so I marked that as CD1.

Since then, it's never really turned into a period. I am usually pretty light as it is, but this is basically nothing. But the timing is right for AF, and too late for IB.

Has anyone experienced this or something similar?

Sometimes I get a really light period when things are really stressful.

Honestly, this happened to me once, and it turned out to be a bfp. Test!

Some woman spot throughout their pregnancy, as long as its just spotting this could be normal.

Sorry, guys! I did test-negative.

But what is going on? There is literally almost nothing.

I hardly ever spot, so this is weird. I haven't been under any stress, really. Nothing out of the ordinary. I used to be an "all or nothing" type of girl, like Autumn mentioned.

I will say that FF suggested Saturday as CD1, so the spotting technically started two days early with very little red. It has since tapered off. But, BFN.

I don't know what to think. Has anyone gotten a BFN at this point and a BFP later on? I'm thinking not.

As I have gotten older, I have started spotting more.
