Hello Ladies! I'm just introducing myself as I was on Getting Pregnant for a little bit. I found out I was pregnant last week (seems so long ago!) and I have my first visit this coming Monday.
It's great to interact some sane ladies with good advice. This is my first pregnancy and I find myself very anxious in the first trimester. Also, I want to tell everyone, but I know I should wait at least a couple of months. :-(
By the way, when did you all tell your supervisor that you were pregnant? I unfortunately have to tell mine by next week because I'm in law enforcement and I was scheduled to qualify with my pistol and shot gun.

Congrats and welcome!
When I was pregnant the first time, I too was in LE and had to tell my supervisor right away. I was part of a narc unit so I wasn't allowed to go on searches and stuff anymore. It sucked but they were super supportive.
This time I work as a contractor for the government and they figured it out on accident. I was OOT with my team and when I didn't have a beer for almost a week they asked and I told. We told my big boss(site lead) after we had the first U/S at 7 weeks(ish).
As far as telling everyone else, its up to you what you're comfortable with. My first pregnancy ended in a m/c so we decided to wait until after first trimester this time. Well, a little earlier, we told after the NT scan at 12 weeks. If you're comfortable telling earlier then go for it!

I wish I was still in LE. I got laid off due to budget cuts. Then DH lost his contract and got offered one in a new state so we moved. We were very fortunate that his company had a spot for me too, it is not ideal but it pays the bills!

Hiya mssue. Nice to see you here!
I am already having thoughts with when to tell work people too, and I didn't expect it in my type of work as an "issue".
I no sooner got my bfp then I was offered two different jobs this week. Great choreo ones too. I have tentatively said "Oh yes, send me the dates" tho one job falls when I'd be 8 months, and the other I'd have just had my kiddo...
I'm not sure what my body will be able to do. I suspect I'd be ok; I have a friend who choreographed at 8-9 months, but I think it's up to these producers whether or not they want to deal with me kinda.
Congrats! I told mine around 10 weeks or so, so that we could find someone to cover for me while I was on mat leave. Good thing I did, we STILL don't have anyone.
I just told my boss last week. I was debating telling her earlier because I work at a hospital and give out a ton of nebulized medicines of all kinds, and I didn't know if some of them would be safe for me to breathe in. But I still decided to wait and just wear extra masks while giving meds I was unsure about.
Welcome! I told work early, after I got back from the holidays at 7.5 weeks. I felt ok doing it because a) I'd already seen a heartbeat on a u/s. b) I was super bloated and looked like I was 5 months pregnant already, so I figured people would notice something. and c) I had to miss work because of m/s. thought my boss deserved to know the reason.
