Is it normal to have some aching in your nether regions near the end of pregnancy?? It's almost like period cramps but it's not crampy...just a steady ache...and it isn't coming and going like a contraction. I think I had my first braxton hicks last night...I never feel them physically but when I touched my belly it was rock hard all over and tight, then would relax.
I definitely had that achy feeling. I always thought it was the baby moving down and getting ready. I didn't have Braxton Hicks until a few weeks before DD was born and it was just a hard stomach. When are you due again, Peach??
Not due until Feb 20 - I just don't remember that achey sore crotch feeling with my DD...maybe this one is dropping? It's head down and it loves to push it's bum out really far....if I press on it's bum to stop it from hurting me, the head presses down, it's so weird/fun. LOL
I totally had that achy crotch feeling in both my pregnancy's. It was painful at times. But Hope was always head down and pushing, Rubes was on my bladder which wasn't any different either.
I can't help you on the BH contractions. If I ever had one I wouldn't know it apparently.
All normal. I never had any BH with my first. By now (my 4th) I get them all the time even before my 3rd tri started. Aching & lightening crotch are all normal
I had achey lady bits during preg #2. Like they were tired lol!
The other thing that was surprisingly more painful the second time around compared to the first was the uterine cramping that comes with your milk let-down. It was a killer the second time!

OMG. That was terrible for me. I also found let-down to be extremely painful. If I hadn't had a preemie, I highly doubt I would have pumped for 8 months. It was intense.
