I may never sleep in past 5:30 am ever again, right? Leo, bless his little soul, can not sleep past 5:30. And he is STTN so I shouldn't complain. Yesterday was H's morning and I still couldn't fall back to sleep. Sigh, and if we wake up Jack will wake up. And then the pets are demanding to be fed. All at 5:30 in the morning on a Sunday. :@
I joined WW last night. I am pretty excited about it. I have been looking at the program and it seems very reasonable to me. I just need some extra help keeping the eating in check. This seems easier than counting my calories/carbs/protein etc. Skinnytaste is now my new favorite website.
DS has a nasty wet cough and is all "fluidy" when he cries (don't know how else to describe it). One of the babies in his room at daycare was out with RSV this week. His pedi has urgent appointments only on weekends and the nurse thinks this is urgent enough to land us an 11:30 appointment so off to the pedi we go this morning. I hope its not RSV...
Last night we went out to eat and Leo kept trying to lick the table. Normally I am like whatever germs are good, but I am so paranoid about all the illness going around. We should have just stuck with staying home all the time lol.
we have tickets to see Wicked today. i THOUGHT i bought tickets for the afternoon show. then we couldn't find the tickets. finally tear apart the house and find them, and we are going to the evening show.
i have GOT to get more organized! and now H is not very excited about going to a long show on a sunday night. we suck about keeping plans...i bet we end up bailing.

My family is still asleep and I want to go to Target, bitches! Wake up, I'll buy you presents!
I also need coffee, but all we have is the cream I don't really like. Ew, I'm so much more a fan of the store brand French Vanilla ft free cream than International Delights. That crap has a weird taste to me. Lesson learned.
Lucy slept over my sister's last night, and DH fell asleep on the sofa. So I snuck upstairs and starfished the bed!
DH is is at his real estate class again today. He is trying to knock it out before the baby comes so he will be in class from 8-6 for the next 2 weekend as well. Which means he will leave the house at 7:30am and not return until 6pm for 26 days straight. During which time I am 9 months pregnant and will also probably give birth.
We are on day 7. Only 19 more days to go
I haven't and don't want to complain to him though , cause it had to be done and he is doing it for us. Plus, my mom and aunt have been here all weekend helping me cook, clean and shop. And tonight we are going to a friends house to make over the fire pizzas.
DH and I are both tired. So I just gotta suck it up.
Also, I made a big batch of minestrone soup today and it turned out really gooooood! Yay.

Night two in the crib was a fucking disaster. She was up every hour, then every 45 minutes until 3:30. She only wanted to nurse twice, the other times just wanted to be comforted. I caved and brought her back into our room after the 9th time I was up, but not even that helped. H got up with her at 3:30 and took her downstairs. I hope tonight is better because I have a big day at work tomorrow. :/
I am sorry poppy. Stick with it. If it is still rough after a couple more days then maybe it isn't time. I think there is some baby rule that you have to give everything three days to see if it will stick. Hope you get a nap today!

no! have him take you out to dinner first. Go to FlyBar, then you can walk to the Straz.
Its a good show and you need to make yourselves go because soon you'll have to put plans like this on the back burner.

I haven't had to pee at an OB appointment since my very first appointment.
Is this weird?
they make me pee at every appt. i'm sure that will start up again soon to check for protein and stuff.
I'm going to ask about it at my next appointment. Not that I enjoy peeing in a cup, but I'm curious as to why I haven't had to since the beginning. They're a really progressive practice, so I'm wondering if it's just something they save for the third trimester.

Last night I cleaned out the stuff I had left at my parents house. It was interesting how things that were SO valuable when I was younger, now I'm all "meh, chuck it".
I also found a letter from my first boyfriend, and it made me alternatively tear up and laugh. He signed it "eternally yours". Ah, young love.
We're now very happily married to other people.
I kind of want to message him about it on FB about it and be all "cant believe what I kept for all these years", but I know that his wife might not be all "oh, that happened 12 years ago, how funny".

Hang in there poppy. It will get better. Swaddle her if you can. Even if she protests at first as you're doing it, most babies like being swaddled. They pitch a fit while you're doing it, and then are all "ooooh, yeah....this is niiiiiceee."
Curly - I really hope it isn't rsv. Poor baby, and poor you.
Eddy - I'm sending you a giant cup of coffee, with sugarfree coffeemate. Good luck w/ the WW!
LHC - oh man, pee in a jug. I think I babysat for someone who did that too, but not per doctor's orders. She was a strange one. I hope everything goes ok w/ the monitoring and baseline.

I have to pee every appt and one time I apologizes bc it wasn't much, but the nurse said they only need enough to dip a tester strip in to check proteins.
I am finally watching the last two parenthoods this morning when I should be cleaning. Dh and I are moving stuff between two spare bedrooms to get one started as the nursery (SQUEE!!) as we are starting to accumulate so much baby stuff already!
