My afternoon entertainment

I have a batshit crazy coworker I have mentioned before.

Today I got to witness some pretty entertaining crazy from her. Her loser son (who is 37, by the way) called his mommy at work (for the third time today) to let her know he'd lost yet another job. She went nuts.

Proceeded to call his (now former) boss and ream him out. At work. In her cube for all to hear. Swearing, calling him a fucking jerkoff, piss poor manager, etc. Yeah. She called her THIRTY SEVEN year old son's boss. And what happens? She's informed that he was canned due to his inability to show up to work regularly, in which he's been warned, written up, given multiple chances after those measures were taken, and finally let go. She was kind of put in her place at that point. Then she called to baby her son some more and tell him it wasn't HIS fault.

First of all, if my mother called and reamed my boss for something, I'd die of embarrassment. Second, nice parenting, lady. Keep making sure your tool of a son keeps losing jobs because nothing's ever his fault.

It was still pretty entertaining. At least until she had to tell anyone who came within five feet of her the sob story. After the tenth time, it was pretty stale.

I imagine that it went something along the lines of *sniff* "Everyone ditches work, why make an example of him. My son is such a hard worker. Now I have to pay for all of his weed, mountain dew, and video games."

Well that, and his multiple child support payments.

Dude is such a freaking loser but she thinks he is perfect. I know she ms his mom, but I hope to have the fucking common sense when my daughter is older to tell her if she's being a loser like he so obviously is to anyone else but her. Both her sons are pathetic little fuckwads with no lives who call their mommy at work ten times a day.

I had a parent call and cuss me out after their precious was fired after always showing up late and a no call no show. At least he was a teenager.

This kind of thing happens allllll. the. time. at my office. But it's usually wives calling and bitching at us because somehow it's OUR fault that their husbands can't answer a phone, put on clothes, and come to work for a whopping two hours.

More than once, we've been the one to accidentally out an affair, because their wives call and say stuff like "He's at work all the time, why are his paychecks so small?" And we go back and look, and they've been working like normal, but telling their wives they're at work all day long. LOL.
