Anyone try it out/going to try it out? I know I won't be able to keep with ballet the whole 9 mos (well, I can do barre, but that's it, I'm not doing pirouettes and jetes once I get bigger) and I was thinking of trying pre-natal yoga. I've never been a yoga person.
But I think I might need the calming aspect of it, if nothing else.
Thoughts on it? The studios I'm checking out look so pretty and relaxing and one of them has a doula who like, hangs out during the class and offers suggestions. No extra fee for her wisdom!

I really want to, but I haven't found a studio near me that offers prenatal classes. Well, that's not true. I found one studio that offers it, but it's kundalini yoga, which I'm not familiar with. Maybe I'll give it a try.
I am, starting Thursday-I picked up a 10 visit groupon for a yoga place near my house that offers it on Thursday nights, so two pg girls from my local and I all jumped on it and are going to go together.
I've been doing regular vinyasa classes so now I am just modifying some of the movements (based on the teacher's instructions). I like it a lot. Definitely helps with my flexibility and it feels good to do something healthy for me!
I wouldn't bother with a specific prenatal class till later on in pregnancy unless you just want a good stretch. I found I could just keep doing regular yoga until nearly 30 weeks.
My prenatal yoga class is run by an instructor that is also a doula. I did regular yoga to 34 weeks with my previous pregnancy, but I was doing it regularly then. For people new to yoga, prenatal is a good choice because they'll help keep you from over stretching and doing poses you shouldn't.
I mostly went straight to prenatal because I'm getting back into it and figured why not?
Boo my smaller city doesn't really offer many choices for prenatal yoga. I have still been doing Zumba and need to look for a change. Any video suggestions?
