It was pretty eye opening. I make pretty decent money and I feel like the working poor. I'm actually worried for once. I'm taking home about 200 less a month than last year.
I am taking home $330 less a pay period! My insurance went up also
I would need to whore myself out if that happened.
Let me know if you want to start up a 900 line or something - a little less risky than whoring it out, possibly as lucritive, and a buisness partner never hurts, lol.
I hate corporate BS. Price-Waterhouse just came in as well.

My hours are so erratic that I can't tell what the difference is. I have anywhere from 5-15+ hours of overtime per week. I should try and compare them somehow :\

How awful! I don't get paid enough to for it to have a huge impact, but I feel terrible for everyone who is feeling the pinch. For some of you that is a significant amount of money! I know I would be upset!

I may be interested in that...
I was thinking something called "sextext" use already trashy online pics, could possibly link it to a computer for easy typing, and we already know guys don't like to talk on the phone. Is it sad that this all popped in my head...
I had overtime for the last pay period, so I haven't seen what it's actually going to be like yet. I'm also getting a promotion soon with a pay increase, but it sounds like that pay increase might just balance it out to what I'm used to.

Creative!
And I also heard the child tax credit is decreasing to 500.

Sign me up too!
My insurance went up too, so I'm bringing home a couple hundred less per month. Ouch.

Between my single status now and this, I am making so much less a month. It has seriously impacted my budget. Since I am in school, my student loans are helping me get through this time...but I am not happy about it.
Once school is over, I will need to get a new job because I now don't make enough to live here. I am at manager level and have been working for 7 years but I am still low income for this town. Nonprofit is not a money maker.

Umm, yeah, I was NOT impressed. I was looking forward to bringing more home per pay period since DS and I are on FF’s insurance now. But instead, my paycheck is $23 smaller than it was WITH my insurance premiums being deducted. It’s sickening.

I wasn't too thrilled either. That on top of now having state income taxes withheld (which I didn't in TX) has made me an unhappy girl. I had to decrease my 401k contributions to be able to keep paying the bills. Not that it matters since they froze the matching anyway. Sigh.

I won't see until the end of the month. I got a raise, which should cover the payroll tax increase, but I think my health insurance is going up, too, which might cause an overall decrease. Boo.
