you are pregnant?
I have had this twice in the past 2 months.
I had someone come up to me and say I was glowing... then said OMG are you pregnant? I took a test... no....
Monday night someone said something and then his wife said you know he is a prophet when it comes to that. I would test.. Then seh came at me today... did u POAS yet?
Is that annoying or do you POAS and hope they are right?
No one has asked me, but I once called my brother to tell him I got an interview at a university he used to work at & I was super excited, so when I said "Guess what?" He assumed I was KU lol.
The other times people asked me were kind of in jest...if I mentioned I was sick to my stomach they would immediately ask if I was pregnant. Hopefully when I am actually KU no one asks me before I am ready to tell b/c I can't keep a secret!
My M&SIL ask me everytime I have a cramp or every time I'm sick if I am KU. I do get bad cramps during AF and it is super annoying.
MIL: OMG are you pregnant? Awick: nope, y do I look fatter then before? MIL: Noooo, why do you have cramps if your not pregnant? Awick: If you must know its my time of the month and you know I get quite crampy at this point. MIL: Are you sure your not pregnant?
Urg she can be so frustrating some times.
As for random people nope, no one asks me at all. My BFF was told congrats by a lady that walked into her work. (BBF worked at a grocery store at the time)BBF told the lady she wasn't pregnant, she was only fat. The lady gave her the weirdest look and walked away. BFF found out a few weeks later that she was 16 weeks along. (She wasn't trying and had irregular periods that she never kept track of.)
I find it really annoying... Co-workers and inlaws keeps asking why my clothes are so baggy now (like all of the sudden, um noo) Or they try to touch my "baby bump" on accident....dummmb Im just pms-ing and extra bloated this cycle that is all... Some people...ugh
When I do get preggo I wont be keeping it a secret. I would happily share the news.
I hate hate hate when people ask me that. I'm just fat mkay?!!? Also, I don't think it's EVER okay to ask a woman if she's pregnant. NEVER! Not even when she's 9 months along and the baby is falling out of her vajajay. Never.
Funny story though, I was at a work thingy many many years ago and this chick who looked very pregnant (from another company) walks up to me. Since I know how hurtful it can be, I obviously didn't ask if she was. 2 seconds later, she looks at me and goes "OMG, that's so cool, you're pregnant". In a milisecond I figured she actually said that because she was pregnant herself. So I responded "hm, no actually, I'm not, but congratulations to you, that's awesome, when are you due?!" Her response: uhhhhh, no, me neither, I'm just fat.

So true, Swizz. But I can't blame my boss for wondering. We're pretty close and I asked her during open season which health insurance she had and how much of her pregnany & birth costs were covered.

OMG, that is awkward all around!
Yup. It kinda made me feel good though, to have her realize how damn stupid she was for asking that
Also, I'm pretty sure by the time anyone could see symptoms you would probably have noticed your late period if you are paying attention for TTC ,these things don't just suddenly show up immediately upon fertilization
ha ha, me too! I'm pretty sure everyone at work is always staring at my stomach for the same reason. It makes me so self conscious! I gained a couple of pounds over the holidays (all of which went straight to my belly!) and I was feeling really uncomfortable, not because I was a little tubby, but because I was afraid everyone was going to ask if I was pregnant! I haven't told anyone at work that we are ttc, but given my age (32) and the fact that I respond to the whole "Are you going to have kids?" question with a wistful "Someday..." they are all totally waiting for news!
My bff was at a liquor store once & the woman ringing her up asked if she was PG, she said no, and her reply was "are you sure because those titties be poppin!" LOL
hmm, twice. 1- GMIL assumed I was one time we were visiting because I didn't feel well and had to go lay down. She talked all evening about how H had "planted his seed". Luckily I missed most of it because I was in the other room resting.
2- someone claiming to be psychic asked if I was preg or at least trying because the "baby energy" was very strong around me.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
Yeah a CW asked me yesterday if I was KU b/c I said I felt dizzy & tired. I gave them a firm no and they dropped it. I like this CW, but c'mon if I was KU I don't think I'd tell you by describing potential PG symptoms!

I had a nasty stomach bug back in November, and a co-worker (who has a strange sense of boundaries, but that's a different discussion for a different day) and told me the day I came back in that she thought I was pregnant...

I got asked at a Christmas party because I was glowing. I'm pretty sure it was just the cycle of birth control pills I had to take before this cycle. My skin looks so much better when I'm on them.
