Any suggestions on what to do about static-y hair? The humidity in my house isn't that low (~50%). I don't use dryer sheets and would prefer not to. The skin on my face is very dry and I have a allergic rash thingy near my mouth, so I try to use all free and clear soaps/shampoos etc.
I have the same problem. I use a drop of aloe on my hands, spread it well and gently stroke aloe-d hands over my har. Works awesome. If I really need to brush it well, I spray a little static guard on my hairbrush, which works great as well. GL
I had major issues with static about a month ago. I tried everything, including oils and smoothers, and nothing worked for me. Someone recommended that I try this leave in product called Its A 10 and I have fallen in love. I got it at Target but its also sold in salons. Its $18 for a small bottle but WELL worth it IMO. Spray it on wet hair then continue styling as usual. Good luck!
