Do you think they are a closet staple these days? Do I need a pair of nude pumps? There are some Gabriella Rocha ones on sale for $20 and I am thinking about getting them.
Ah I feel the same way! I need them! But not sure if they will be really "nude" for me since I am so dark! Haha! Brown ones are usually darker than my skin tone. So I might return them after trying on and seeing if they don't look "nude" enough. They usually have to be close to your skin tone to be nude right? I feel dumb asking this. haha.
Yeah, unfortunately, what is considered "nude" is usually lighter in color, so "nude" isn't really universal in that sense. To get the effect, they should be close to your skin tone, but that doesn't mean you can't wear a lighter neutral shade, because it will still be really versatile with your wardrobe, despite your skin tone.
hmm, I thought they were classic which is why they are still being sold. But they ARE on sale .. LOL. I will return if I don't like them. Have to see how pointy they are.
As in 80s/90s...there was a time in the 2000s when super pointy was a big deal...around '05/'06 maybe? One of my bffs wore them out all the time back then, lol.
I should also add a disclaimer that I am pretty much anti-pointy shoe as a rule, partly because my feet are too wide for them, and also partly because I just think they look weird, lol.

This is the brand mine are...well I guess I have 2 pairs of nude, but the Garbriella Rocha ones have a little bit more of a blush tiny to them. I got them at Zappos. Reviews said they run about 1/2 size too small. Mine don't to me, but I can see where they are coming from.
The other ones I got at Target, they are a higher heel.

I own nude pumps, but I haven't worn them once. They're peep toe, Ivanka Trump Cleo, which I got in the winter. I assumed I'd wear them once spring started, but I haven't yet.
Thanks bluesecrets! I really like the caress ones. They are a bit pricey at $89 for me. Maybe they will go on sale soon. But I might end up getting the pearce pump before that happens.
