I went to the doc this morning. Heartbeat still sounded great! I lost another 2 pounds though. Foods still don't sound good to me, so it's hard to eat. Doctor was decently concerned though (I'm smaller to begin with), so at least I got the green light to eat doughnuts all day, every day if that's what I feel like eating.
So I'm currently eating a Burger King whopper, which I haven't had in years, and sadly, it's not as good as I remember.
I feel like maybe I just lost some muscle since I was a big runner before I got pregnant, and now I haven't run in months because of the nausea.

My eyes are killing me and have been for the last day or 2. I'm wearing glasses instead of contacts and putting drops in but nothing helps. I'm guessing it must be some kind of allergy? I don't know but it sucks.
I've eaten Cheetos, a twinkie, and a chocolate cake thing (among other healthier stuff) this morning. WTF is wrong with me.

Today was the first day I woke up and prayed to puke to quell my spinning head and upset stomach. No avail. I stayed in bed later and that helped and then ate bland breakfast. Still no strong food aversions (thankfully) but less and less is sounding good.
I also sleep like it's my job now.
Worst of all, I want to buy baby shit for the first time ever. I'm not. But I want to. It also overwhelms me how much stuff there is to choose from.

Boo for puking. Yay for good appointments.
I made a run to target this morning, desperate to get out of the house since we've been cooped up since C has had a fever all week. I returned $100 worth of stuff but bought $60. I still feel like I made it out of there in pretty good shape
I am 23 weeks. I have purchased a grand total of 2 things (a dress and a onesie/bib set). We haven't made any choices. We didn't make a name choice til a few weeks after we found out what we're having. My ILs have already started work on Lorelai's nursery at their house... we haven't so much as opened the door! I'm being asked to give my friends/family my baby shower guest list... we haven't so much as THOUGHT about what to register for. I know I want a City Mini stroller and that's it.
And you know what, it doesn't bother me at all. I'm not stressed out. Everything will happen when it needs to.

Imoan, it's early. You're fine. As long as you aren't stressed, then there's nothing to worry about. We got half the stuff we needed for C after he was born (he came early so I never went through a nesting phase). His nursery still isn't 100% done.

I can't stop eating poorly. I plan out my day of eating, and then I eat a bowl of ice cream, or a few cookies, etc. I know it doesn't sound like really poor eating, but this is so not like me. I don't even have cravings. I just see something and think, ohhhhh, that would be good, and I eat it. Blah.
RT, yay for a good appt!
imoan, I really want a City Mini, and that is all I know, too.
Oh god, Vino, me too. My danger time is mid-late afternoon at the office. I have nuts and flavoured rice cakes but I also have chocolate items at my desk. I should just not have anything, but I get so huuuuuuungry.

YAY for a good appt RT!
Tomorrow morning is our A/S. DH and I are fighting because he doesn't want to call and tell his family. He wants them to call us. I think he's being childish but its his family so I'll let him deal with them.

I am literally counting the days until my NT scan on Feb 4. As long as all goes well that day, then we are gonna tell everyone the news. I just can't wait to spill!
I hate ANYONE that lives near a Steak & Shake! It's a running joke now that whenever anyone in my family goes down south or something and goes to a Steak & Shake, you send everyone pics of you eating it. My sister was just in FL visiting my sister and sent me pics... it was just CRUEL!
I have a City Mini GT... it's fabulous. I love it. BTW, the BRU great trade-in starts tomorrow, so if you can find a crappy old stroller for cheap, you can get 25% off a new stroller. I'm trying to decide if the carseat I have from a friend (that I trust, don't worry) really does fit in the car, or if I should get a different one.
