Gah! I still need to see it. I'm glad you loved it! I've been wanting to forever, but we ended up seeing 7 psychopaths instead due to timing. And it was worth it since that movie is hysterical. I hope they're still showing it next week, as well. Maybe since monday is a holiday we can make it.

Argo was awesome! I didn't know much about this part of the story, either, so I was glued to my seat the whole time. (Apparently, some of it is highly exaggerated towards the end. While I didn't think it was necessary, it didn't ruin the movie for me or anything.)
We saw Zero Dark Thirty yesterday, and it was really good. Some of it was tough to watch, but it's SUPPOSED to be tough, you know? The acting was stellar, and it's really crazy to me that Kathryn Bigelow didn't get a directing nomination. It's definitely my favorite of the nominees that I've seen so far.
I really enjoyed Argo too and sadly had no idea the whole event even happened. My husband and I agreed that we felt like history classes focused so much on early history that by the time we got through the school year we would maybe touch on early 1900's but hardly got into recent 'history'. I think its important to learn what happened from the 1930s on!
I'm definitely going to catch this when it hits On Demand. You are one of many good reviews I've heard. Usually I rely on my parents, who go to the movies all.the.time
