Any last minute fostering advice? The rescue group isn't really providing us with much, just a collar that is apparently too big. I'm going to pick him up some food, treats and a collar that fits and I'll have a leash ready.
We're going to set him up in Willow's crate (she doesn't use it anymore). Should I pick him up some of his own toys?
I usually would say stock up on Natures miracle and paper towels, because you never know. I've been fairly lucky with fosters not having major issues in the house, but its good to be prepared.
I always get a new collar. Most of the ones I've had come straight from the shelter so it's a necessity, but its also my way of a fresh start. I stock up when Target had sales or clearance so I usually have one on hand. Hell, I usually have one in my car. I like to buy a new toy or two a well.
I also make sure I buy treats in meat/cheese flavored because none of our fosters ever want to eat the fruit ones I have at first.
I'm guessing in your training tomorrow they'll go over introduction? I have to do things a certain way depending on if the foster is male or female, because Maybe is a diva and a brat, mostly with other females.

Yes - they don't have any idea if he is house trained or not so the NM suggestion is great, thanks. Tomorrow they will go over introductions, I don't think that will be too tough on Willow's end because she loves every dog and has never had a problem meeting/greeting new pups that are male or female. It will really depend on what he needs in order to make him feel comfortable.
