Vent- DH's cousin that just announced that she is pregnant also says that they were trying! Lets do the math- together for 2-3 months (max) and she is at least 5 weeks pregnant right now that means sometime in the first 7 weeks they were together they decided to start trying! yikes!
Random- DH sent me some pictures of some thing he has finished around the house! I'm glad he is getting things done.

Yikes! indeed to your vent, and Nice! to your random.
My vent: I'm having ovulation pain and don't feel like doing anything. I have it most months (at least since I started TTC and am paying more attention), but it's coming from both sides this time. I should get up and do useful things so we have less to do tomorrow, but I don't want to.
Random: On our doctors' advice we're only DTD every other day, and we're both wanting what we "can't" have. (Obviously we could do it, but we're stubborn.)
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

Random: DH and I went to the store and he was looking at magazines while I ran back with dd in the cart to get something I forgot. So I go back to the books and magazine aisle to meet him and some creepy guy started hitting on me. Creeper started talking about 50 Shades of Gray. It was weird. Then my DD growled at him because she thinks she's a tiger. DH was listening in the whole time, but stood back because apparently it was the funniest thing ever.
Vent: The 2WW is way too freaking long. I am pretty sure time has slowed down.
beloved- I get bad pains around O as well (I have always had them but just never paid attention to when they were until TTC. I feel your pain. But from both sides? I have never had that happen before. Maybe this is your month and it will be twins!! lol
Statler- Your random- lol. I love how your DD growled at him! lol Your vent- yep times does slow down thats for sure.
We have to get our house ready to list for rent in the next 11 days, and I am totally overwhelmed. I'm also freaking out because there's not a single house for rent that we like in the town we're moving to. Of course, there had been TONS we liked, but as soon as we're ready to actually move, there are zero. We are contemplating buying, but the idea of owning two houses terrifies me. We'll have to someday, though, because it's going to take years and years for our current house to recover its value.
Also, we see DH's family twice a year. If this cycle works, I'd get a positive pregnancy test toward the end of our stay with them in February. I SO want to be able to tell them in person that they're going to be grandparents. I'm really hoping this month works.

I've never felt it on both sides before, and Dr. Google says, yep, could be two eggs. OMG twins...I have twin half brothers, so I know enough about what that would entail to be absolutely terrified at the idea. But if that's the fertility hand I get dealt, I'll take it, happily.

I am a twin. My mom always said that the best thing to happen to her was to have the twins first. You have built in playmates! She said it gave her more "her" time then most of her friends got with their children. She also said that it was so helpful when she had her 3rd and 4th child because me and my sister always played together and were out of her hair. (again built in playmate!)
I don't remember your hx. Are you TTC #1? You'll do great either way!
Statler, I'm cracking up at the idea of your daughter growling at someone. I've never felt it on both sides before, and Dr. Google says, yep, could be two eggs. I would love to have twins, but the idea still scares me! Aside from the two-babies-at-once aspect, DH and I have discussed the possibility, and twins would mean that I would probably quit my job and just freelance on a very part time basis, at least for a few years, so it would be a huge lifestyle change (huger than with a singleton). A nice change, but huge nonetheless.
Yes, we're TTC #1 (or #s 1 and 2...LOL!). I should put a siggy in; I actually made FF ticker earlier but then I chickened out.

re: Poor -- Who announces a pregnancy to coworkers at 9 weeks??? My boss and I are pretty close and she waiting until 4 months to announce.
AW: Dh and I bought a new car yesterday - We've never had a new car, it's sort of cool but foreign to me. It's a 2013 Ford Fusion - pretty cool looking for a family sedan, nice transition to future family-hood.
Hehe, all this talk of twins makes me feel a lot of respect for my mom. I have a twin brother, and I also have an older brother (by 2.5 years). Imagine having twins with a toddler running around?
