True Life: I Hate the Government. Three young people who are hardcore conservative and are involved in various political organizations.
Two of them come off as relatively normal people, if a little odd. The third is a guy working against abortion. He and three other guys are sitting around a table talking about outlawing the pill and iuds and throwing women in jail. I'm raging and I know that's what he wants. And that just makes me angrier.

Someone remind me this show is mostly scripted.

You know what, I will out myself as a small government advocate. I am by no means a conservative, but I am a Libertarian which I know is a minority on this board.
But I really don't get people who are "anti government" yet think it's OK for the government to dictate reproductive issues. WTF? This is so incredibly hypocritical. You can't want the government out of your personal business on some issues (gun ownership, just to pull one out of the air) but all up in your business when it comes to others (reproductive rights). Doesn't compute.
I do have to give mtv credit for not making all of them come across as wingnuts. The asian high school kid seems like he has a good head on his shoulders.
I am sure the girl they profiled will be first in line for the Citadel.
