humor me: what do you make for Easter dinner?

YES I KNOW IT IS 2 MONTHS FROM NOW BUT HUMOR ME!

If we don't have ham, we have lamb. Those are pretty much the only two main dishes we have. Cheesy potatoes with ham, roasted potatoes with lamb, asparagus and salad with either. And sometimes there's pasta but not always.

One of my aunts likes to have turkey on Easter for some odd reason, so whenever she hosts, there's also a turkey.

Usually always ham, broccoli, potatoes, deviled eggs and rolls. I can't remember anything else for sure. Sometimes it just depends on what we haven't had in a while.

Deviled eggs. My dad grills a leg of lamb. Mashed potatoes. Everything else changes from year to year. Last year I made Swiss chard gratin and it was really, really good. I also like to make a sheet cake in the shape of a bunny, just like my mom did when I was 6, because why not?

This sounds like my family's usual as well, maybe prime rib. Don't think we've ever done Turkey for Easter.

My mom used to make a lamb roast. We aren't big turkey people though. Not sure if we will do anythign this year, most people don't have the day off this year.

Then potatoes, a veggie side (like green beans), sometimes turnip ( I don't enjoy) and cornbread.

I introduced Stove Top stuffing with the Easter by tweaking it with apple juice and raisins. My mother doesn't approve but my DH loves it.

I'm not crazy about ham, so I've made pork roasts in the past with potato gratin and spring veggies.

My step mom hates ham, so we never have that

I live in California, and the weather is usually pretty nice, so we usually BBQ. Usually steaks and chicken breast. Some sort of sausage as appetizer.

Not a big ham person so I might do a turkey but my kids and their spouses (and my H) all love my beef roast so I might do that. My S and his wife are very picky eaters, they like almost nothing but they like my roast, they like my lasagna and my manicotti so as odd as they might sound, I might fix one of the later two dishes just so I know they'll eat.

Last year, we did an awesome meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. Dessert was lime yogurt cake with blackberry sauce. Everything was delicious.
