I just had a phone interview for a company. It was going great right up till she put me on hold and then asked me about what I knew about the company. I totally blanked. I read up on the company and just blanked out everything. did I blow it since there was not a follow up set up?

No way to tell. But, a good lesson for next time - the best thing about phone interviews is that you can "cheat" and have things in front of you on paper! Hope it works out.

Ditto! This is excellent advice.
And how rude of the recruiter. I never ever ever put someone on hold during a phone interview!
it is funny you said that, since she said next time you should have notes or something. I feel like that is telling me just read what is the website back to me.
Yea, she said that it was a hiring manager in canada and that she needed to take the call.
I feel like it should be a wash. they placed me on hold and I blanked the company out.
