We can do both. But one has to be a half day unless we only do 1 day at magic kingdom. I think we'll do 2 days there, which leaves one other whole, and one half day.
Natalie loves space, but I think she is too young to do a lot of rides. So I was leaning towards the whole day at Animal kingdom. I think there might be more there for her to do/see that wouldn't feel like we were dragging her around.
Half day at animal kingdom. Get there in the morning and do the safari thing (the animals are more active in the morning) and then do the rest, there is a Finding Nemo live action show, the Bug's Life 3-D movie which is lots of fun, other animals to look at, etc.

There are plenty of things she can go on and might want to go on more than once. In the World Showcase they have these arts and crafts things you can do at each country. Plus, there is good food to be had.
I would do the whole day at AK and the half at Epcot although I do think there is tons to do in Epcot for kids. The reason I say this though is because AK is not open at night where Epcot is so you can always go back there later after another park to explore World Showcase, grab something to eat, and do whatever rides or character greets you missed

ok, but what else is there for her to do at epcot? I don't think she's going to be all that into the different countries. I remember being SUPER bored with that as a teenager. Haven't been since then.
eta: so she does like art. I'm just worried that she's going to get bored going from one country to another.
Epcot has gotten better. There is Spaceship Earth (the big ball) which C loved and we rode at least three times. The finding Nemo ride and then the talking with Crush at the Living Seas. Ride with Figment, soaring (she might be old enough), there is the Ellen DeGeneris ride about energy. There are two boat rides in the World Showcase too.

S would be bored after the space stuff, honestly. But animals would keep his attention much, much longer. He's 4.

each country has a princess or two. some of the countries have rides. there are street performers
and the other half of epcot is basially a children's museum. it's fun, but personally, every time we go to animal kingdom, i have a fuck disney day. it's hot, it's smelly, and this time? we didn't even get to ride the safari.

Animal Kingdom for the whole day, because I think it is more kid friendly. And I love Animal Kingdom.
DH would say Epcot, so he could drink booze, LOL.
EDIT: We went several years ago with my nephews and niece, and they all really disliked Epcot and complained of being bored the whole time (despite the fact that one of nephews wanted to be an astronaut at the time).

We have never needed a full day at AK. ever, not even with the kids. It also feels more crowded than Epcot just due to layout and design.

theres no shade in AK. what the hell, uncle Walt?
lol C liked it, I think we went back one more time so that we could do the safari ride one more time, but that was it. She really liked Epcot. Maybe I have a future nerd on my hands. :^)
