I have a bag of already cooked, frozen chicken strips. the package says that serving size is 3oz. I don't have a scale yet ( I am getting one). We are using this for dinner tonight. i am trying to figure out about how many strips would equal 3 oz. I know it depends on the size and what not but how many strips AVERAGE do you think would equal to 3 oz.
I'd look at the "Servings per package" and see how that translates. (For example, if is 12 strips and 4 servings per package, each strip is about an ounce).

This is how I figure it out. I usually end up doing 2 chicken strips/tenders for 3-4oz.

All it says is Serving size 3 oz servings per container 13
Okay. If estimating the total number isn't something you can do (with the missing pieces), you can find something else that weighs 3 ounces and compare :-)
