Brr so cold this morning and tomorrow is supposed to be even worse! I just try to keep reminding myself that it's not as bad as the below 0 days when I lived in VT when even your nose hair would freeze. :/
Less than an inch of snow, but it is cold! I'm jealous of your coat. My long wool coat has rips in the lining but I am trying to stick through one more winter before replacing it.
I have to walk to and from school with both kids, about a 20 minute walk each way ......brrrrrrrr! This morning actually wasn't as bad as I thought, but I am dreading the next two days.
Only about half an inch of snow here. Henry was so bummed - he really was hoping for a snow day!
Mine is embarrassingly past the keys-stuck-in-pockets phase and has moved on to the keys-fall-through-pockets-and-down-into-the-bottom-of-the-coat phase. It still looks ok from the outside though so I just don't put anything but my hands in the pockets. I like that one you linked to and that is a great deal! I'll have to keep an eye out for end of season sales. They're probably starting now. I'm in the market for some new snow boots too because mine have a rip in the back. I really beat up on my cold weather gear.
Just a dusting really in my neck of the woods. Thank god for automatic car starters! This winter has really shown my husband and I how poorly insulated parts of our house is and how inefficent our furnace is too.
Barely any snow here in the south shore but freezing. I'm home sick with the fireplace going.
My coat is being cleaned and I'm sporting my fleece until I get it back. Without fail, whenever I need it I have recently decided its time to dryclean.

My wool coat's lining had rips in it as well. I took it to a dry cleaner in Lexington that also has a seamstress. They charged me $17 to sew up all of the rips, and there were a lot.
I havent even stepped outside today (I WFH) but we are headed to Sugarbush Friday night for a weekend of skiing and the high Saturday at the base is only 10 degrees... , which is better then the forecast tomorrow which is only 1!!! I'm not sure what else to add to my layers to stay warm! I also haven't skied in 10 years so I've had to list out all the gear I need and purchase what I dont have... renting equipment though.

We got a half inch or so at the most way up North. It is bitter cold and my remote car starter decided not to work this season, thankfully I have a garage for the mornings but at night leaving work at 7pm it would be nice to be warm.

I totally drove in to work this morning and Princess Parked at the garage across the street from my building. I even lucked out on my way in and was able to get parking in front of the building I needed to stop at to buy the cheapo passes ($13 vs. $23 for the day), so now I don't have to leave the building again if I'm willing to eat whatever lame soup they have for lunch.
Also, we put Jack's new coat on him last night and this morning. To say he was not amused would be understatement. It took the poor poocher 5 minutes to figure out how to walk straight, and he still kind of looks like one of those Imperial Walker thingys from Star Wars.
My FB feed is blowing up with people absolutely enraged at the MBTA this morning. I had zero issues at 6:30am. Was anyone caught up? I don't understand why cold weather cripples the MBTA.
I was stopped at Park Street for a while at around 7:45, but no other real issues.
But at around 9am they suspended service on the green line due to possible electric fire/problem at Arlington.
This is hilarious and adorable! I love his purple puffy vest!
It's so weird that it looks purple, because it's a steel grey in person, heh. Stupid iPhone cameras.
And yep, the green line was shut down from Kenmore to Park Street due to smoke/fire. Shuttles the whole way, which sucks because normally, it'd be much faster to walk that stretch than to sit on one of those buses.
I was actually supposed to go in the office today and saw the Green line mess and am waiting it out for a bit... I havent been in the office since before Christmas and of course I pick the coldest day of the year to venture in...
Waiting inside is awesome. The worst stations are the ones where the parking lot is so far from the platform that you can't even wait in your car, and there is no indoor waiting area.
