ANNOUNCEMENT: After 2.5 weeks the hives are gone!

Seriously had the most horrible case of hives in the history of all time. Big raised angry welts everywhere. I saw 2 doctors and both said that they were from my body fighting off a cold/flu virus.

It was so horrible I can't even tell you.

Benedryl kind of helped a little.
But then dr number 2 recommended Zantac 150 in addition to the Benedryl and BAM 30 minutes later no hives.

Apparently there are 2 types of histamine receptors.  Benedryl blocks one and Zantac blocks the other.

I'll probably have to continue taking the Benedryl/Zantac combo for another week. But at this point I'll do anything.

Yes. I have had these hellacious hives. They suck so much vegan dick. I was on steroids for forever to shake them loose. I guess they found out that I am prone to chronic hives? The itching was maddening? Glad you are feeling better!

Neither had I, but it was confirmed by the internets (so it must be true), and it did work like a dream. So now you know. File this one away to treat mysterious skin horrors in the future.
