I can't believe how many charges hotels are getting away with nowadays. Doing my expense reports is a nightmare after all of the taxes, parking charges, wireless and "resort fees". FFS, I just want to use the gym and GBCN while I watch TV in bed.. Don't even get me started on room service. $17 for Breakfast!! UGH!!
We stayed at a hotel last summer that charged for internet. I was like, "What is this, 1998?"
I usually only consistently see free internet when I'm staying at a hotel that is both business- and budget-oriented like a Courtyard by Marriott or Homewood Suites. Nicer hotels often still charge for internet because hey -- their wealthy guests will pay for it (or will expense it, if it is business travel). Same with breakfasts and such.

I totally thought that said 'your cat stays free' and thought you were going to be posting about the exorbitant price they charge to change/clean cat litter.
