I usually get 2 days worth of positives. Last month it was 3 days (but the first was in the afternoon and the last was barely positive every early in the morning on the 3rd day).
I test once a day from CD7-9 and twice a day from CD10 until I have a positive followed by a negative along with a temp rise.
My digital tests say to stop to testing when you get a smiley (not sure about other tests). So, I got a on CD18 and my temp rose on CD20, I am fairly certain I Oed on CD19. Also, my CM dried up on CD20.
It seems to depend. I had two days of positive one cycle, one the other. It looks like this one will be one (I think my temp is about to spike tomorrow, but we'll see). I try to test twice a day.
I also have gotten positives (or almost positives) multiple times in a cycle. As in, the opk turned positive, but my temp did not rise. It faded back to negative the next few days and then, a week or so later, faded back to another round of positive, which was this time followed by a temp rise. This happened this cycle as well. A positive opk is no guarantee that you'll ovulate, it just means that you usually will (this is what I learned here, when I was confused!). That's where temping is really a lot more helpful

I usually get one day, but sometimes two. I'm not bothering with it this cycle, but I normally test first thing in the morning and then after work. I keep testing until I get a negative again--no good reason for this, but I use cheap Wondfos so why not?
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
Depends on what you count as positive. If you go by the official rules and only count it as a positive when more than half of the line is darker than the control line, then 0-1 positive any given cycle, depending on whether I catch it. If you mean seeing that it eeps getting darker, stays pretty dark and then fades and the pretty darks are positives, then 1-2 and occasionally (if I've *just* missed my peak) even 3 every cycle (when testing twice a day)
So funny that there's a post on this b/c I wanted to start a thread on the subject
I've been doing OPKs for the past few days. There was no second line for a while and a faint one yesterday evening - pretty solid today. That's right on schedule b/c I should probably O' tomorrow. I'm pretty happy w/the timing b/c I was nervous I didn't have a long enough time between O & AF (25 day cycle, but O around CD 11)
I hope I get a good temp spike - this is my first time charting.
