Yes, I have a book addiction. I spend about 20 per book. I used to buy like 5 a month at least. I buy fewer now, because I'm trying to watch what I spend, and I have less time to ready
I buy way too many books. I don't even want to think about how much I spend. Oh and I buy the paper versions. I bought 2-3 kindle books on our ipad and haven't read them. I started and stopped, I like paper way better.
I check the library first (I actually started getting all of S's books there to see which ones he really loves, then will buy them), then check half-priced books, then will buy it at Costco if I really want it. I rarely have to go to a bookstore to buy something after checking those places. Also, me and my friends have been booksharing and I love it. One of my friends who I share books with just got a kindle and I'm bummed because I haven't made the jump yet and probably won't until I have to.

I used to spend a lot when I was commuting for work - 2.5 hours a day on a train gave me a ton of reading time, and I would buy books at the station a lot.

I rarely bought books before I received a kindle fire for Christmas and now I am the same way. It is so convenient and I have zero willpower over the Kindle Daily Deals. If it looks even remotely interesting I will buy it for $1.99 although now I have a ton of them and I haven't read a single one.

I used to live at the library when I was a kid/teenager. Now I live in my own library, because I buy books like crazy and my house is filled with them. It got even worse when I discovered Amazon and the rest of the internet. I am an expert at finding cheap books.
Now, since I have the Kindle, I'm trying not to buy physical books anymore to save space, but I have TONS of Kindle books. I buy them faster than I can read them. Especially since so many are free, or just a buck or two, there's nothing to stop me from buying them as soon as I discover them. The more expensive ones I usually store on my Wish List until I'm actually ready to read them.
Yes, I buy both physical and Nook books. I usually only buy them with a gc or a coupon or at the thrift store. I don't like spending more than $10 for either.

I read a lot, especially in the summer (3-4 books/week). I am at the library a lot, and also buy books for my Nook. I'd say, at most, I spend about $50/month on books. Most often, though, it's $10 or less.

Before my Nook, I spent very little on books. I always just got what I wanted from the library. However, my Nook has been killer on the budget. One month I spent over a hundred bucks on books. Since then, I try to request the more expensive books from my library and limit myself to somewhere between the 30-50 dollar range per month on my Nook. Kid books we usually get at the library. I am a total sucker for her love of books though, so if she asks for a book 9/10 times I will buy it.
I buy books when I'm at the airport on my way for a business or pleasure trip. That's how I got into the Twilight series as well as the Sookie Stackhouse books. I love getting a big ol' novel and be able to read it on the long flights, as well as while I'm in my hotel room with time on my hands. Sometimes I take my beads with me to work on at night, but it's good to have something to read too.

Yes, I am addicted to reading. I buy at least 4 month.
Me too, at least 6 books per month at Amazon, and then when I travel to the UK some more (they're way cheaper than on the mainland). DH buys 3-4 per month, but he has a music addiction : Amazon likes us !
I probably spend around $25 - $50 per month. I have Kindle and I have downloaded a few books, but I prefer real books. I like having my own books because I re-read them and I also tend to eat when I read. Also, library books smell weird.
I get most of mine new through Amazon Prime, but I've also bought used on there pretty cheap.
