I can't wait to be home next week! 5 more sleeps!!
3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you?
We have only told 2 people we are TTC. (They are a couple) We told them because I know they are TTC as well. We don't plan to tell others because we don't want people asking us if we are pregnant all the time.
1. Where are you in the TTC/Cycle journey? Cycle 9, 6 DPO
2. Any AWs/Vents/Rants/etc? Based on his schedule and the appointments available, H had to schedule his SA for after my FW next month, which sucks only because I wanted all our questions answered after my HSG and CD 3 bloodwork next week. Oh well! I'll be happy to have answers either way.
3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you? I told my BFF within the first few cycles; H just told his brother at the start of this cycle. We kept it quiet for a few reasons: to surprise our families with a BFP, and to protect ourselves from questions/advice if it took us a while. At this point, when we get a referral to the RE we'll need to tell our parents because we'll need medical history info from them, which really really sucks.

Congrats to the BFP club!
1) cyce 2, CD 10 (LH surge, lowish' temps)
2) DH is going out of town Sunday, so if I get a BFP this cycle he may not be here. We're planning a trip to New Orleans this spring. I'm stoked but it will be a shame if I can't drink. Oh well.
3) We told our close friends b/c we talk about that type of stuff and we've all been wondering what our timelines are (a lot of us are married, no kids yet). We didn't tell any family b/c we want it to be a surprise. DH's folks already have their first grandchild coming this spring, but it will be a huge deal for my folks. I think I mentioned in an earlier thread that I said something to CWs at happy hour - alcohol is my truth serum.
1. Where are you in the TTC/Cycle journey? Cycle 3 CD13
2. Any AWs/Vents/Rants/etc? I feel like we have been at this for so much longer than just 3 cycles because we had been waiting to start TTC for over a year (several things needed to be completed before we could start). It's so hard to still be waiting for it to happen for us. Also, every month I think "oh, it'd be great if it happened this month because X his happening so we could do Y to surprise family...etc." and every month I am disappointed And yet, I never learn. DH's b-day is in Feb, so of course I would love to be able to tell him we finally did it, and I already have it all planned out. Please, please, please let this be our month.
3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you? We didn't want to tell anyone at first, but I'm a horrible liar and people keep asking and bugging us about it, so I've broken down a couple times already and admitted we were in fact trying. I need to find ways around the topic, I really don't want everyone knowing we are TTC!
1. TTC since sept 11, cd 1 2. gibbylod, I hope hope hope this is your month!! I keep having the same thoughts--a bfp would have been awesome Sept. and Dec. when AF came, because the timing would have been perfect to tell my family when they came out to visit. I want to be able to tell my mom in person. 3. A few close friends. I've almost told our families out of frustration (especially when they bug us about having kids).

Thanks mrschicken! FX for you too. I know we all always hope the current month will be our month.
2. I'm having opk troubles this cycle. I got an almost positive opk on cd10, but then it faded away and my temps didn't change, although I did have the pinching pain that usually happens in the side of my lower abdomen when I ovulate. I assumed that my body was just ramping up and failed to launch, which has happened before for me. It would have been way early to ovulate for m y cycle. So I kept testing and got another positive on cd15. It quickly faded away yesterday and I expected my temps to rise, but they've stayed low. I didn't have any kind of ovulation pain this time either, though I had tons of ewcm. I guess that it is possible for ovulation to happen today, but I don't feel the weird pinch/pain at all, so Im guessing that this is just another false alarm. It's not the end of the world, but I'm worried that these false starts might be a sign of a problem, you know?
3. We haven't told anyone really. I have sort of mentioned it to one coworker, who has struggled with IF and has been encouraging me to start trying sooner rather than later if we want kids, in case we run into issues. I was super vague though. In general, DH and i are very private and we don't want expectations from other people, including family and friends. We have a lot of friends who are childfree by choice, so I'm sure that they'd be very interested in hearing about ttc anyway!

1. Cycle 8, CD 19, 2-3 DPO (I'm not sure if I agree with FF this month based on a late temp Monday)
2. Just the usual...
3. My mom knows; I had implied previously, but I explicitly told her when I decided to go to the doctor. I would kind of like to be more open about it, but I don't want unsolicited advice or questions. We may tell the inlaws and my dad, and maybe some people at church, if it doesn't happen soon.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

1. Where are you in the TTC/Cycle journey? Cycle 4 CD2
2. Any AWs/Vents/Rants/etc? Cycle 3 was awesome since I finally ovulated! wohoo! And I didn't have any midcycle spotting, plus my leutal phase was 11/12 days long. Not too shabby! 3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you? I have told a few friends that know the drill as in they keep it to themselves and don't ask me for updates. I also told my brother since he keeps thing on the dl and to test the waters of telling people. I will never tell my mom because she has the world's biggest month and everyone from the aerobics teacher to the grocery clerk will know we hare having unprotected sex! I've debated telling the IL's but I think they have an suspicion so I'll let them run with that!
1. Where are you in the TTC/Cycle journey? Trying since Oct., Cycle 2, CD59, no O this month, currently taking medroxyprogesterone to start AF, diagnosed last week with subclinical hypothyroidism, appt with internist today to get my tsh levels in check before ttc again
2. Any AWs/Vents/Rants/etc? I am pretty bummed about all of the above. It sucks to have waited so long to start and end up sitting on the sideline after only a few months.
3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you? I told a few close friends, which I totally regret now, because I feel like a failure that it didn't happen so easily. I cannot breathe a word to my family or they will freak out.

((hugs)) You are not a failure, you can not control what is happening to your body! This is not your fault.

1. Cycle 9, CD2
2. I was pretty bummed over the weekend that this was yet again not our month. Can't believe we are on cycle 9 already.
3. I didn't make a point to tell anyone, like, hey guess what!? We're TTC!. But if anyone asked I didn't hide it. I think my brother-in-law was actually the first person that found out, heh. So pretty much everyone knows now.
2) I am DYING to test, even though i know it's waaay too early still. I'm trying to hold out until Sunday, but we'll see how it goes
3) I mentioned it to my best friend, and a couple of my sisters. Not a word to my parents though (my mom would never be able to keep quiet about it), and we aren't telling his parents either. They're super anxious for grandkids, and I know they would be asking us how it was going all the time. I also have PCOS and am prepared for this to take awhile--so I don't want to get everyone's hopes up right now. And honestly, I really don't want to discuss my medical issues with them(I have this irrational fear that my in-laws will look down on me if it takes us too long--which is ridiculous, but I really can't help but think it)
1. Cycle 2 CD 14. Not sure if I have ovulated yet. I haven't had any ovulation pain (maaaaybe yesterday, but I also had to pee so it could have been bladder pain from being full), negative OPKs (plenty of faint lines, including today, but nowhere near as dark as the control line), and plenty of fertile CM. I'm dry today, but who knows tomorrow?
2. Two coworkers announced Sunday that they're both 9 weeks. Color me jealous even though I wouldnt announce that early.
3. Y'all, my coworkers (because I've been chatting and commisserating with the two aforementioned coworkers), and my sister. My mom doesn't know but she suspects and knows we will try this year.
1. Cycle 2. CD 20. Just coming off BC and hoping my cycle gets regular soon. 2. This is very vague and not directed at any of you. People who make planning an event into a huge ordeal drive me crazy!! This brought to you by an IRL situation. Just needed to vent somewhere. 3. People know that we will be TTC soonish. We have been married for awhile so the pressure is on to have kids. I try not to discuss it because I don't want any of that added pressure.
1. Cycle 2, CD 7 2. AW: We leave for a Florida trip in less than three weeks, and I can't wait! 3. I meant to tell one person and accidentally told about eight people. Oops.
1. Where are you in the TTC/Cycle journey? cycle--too many to count...CD 9
2. Any AWs/Vents/Rants/etc?
Feelin' kinda blah...my 38th bday is coming up! Ugh... Still no kiddos...Im hoping for a better year this year...
3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you?
Only my closest family members know about out T-TTC...I don't share with many people because people to to judgmental and over critical. IF has been one the most difficult things I've had to endure...so many ups and downs...
1. Where are you in the TTC/Cycle journey? Ute is empty, has been for a long time, doctor is looking at bloodwork to explain why ute is empty. Cycle a lot, CD7
2. Any AWs/Vents/Rants/etc? The dude who did my CD3 bloodwork was a studen and mis-poked me, 5 days later I still have a massive (fist size) yellow and purple bruise on my arm.
3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you? Only a few people who I know IRL who are on proboards know. No-one else. It's none of their damn business, they'll hear when I'm good and well in my 2nd trimester. Considering the fact that I'm now seeing an RE, I'm extra happy I haven't told anyone, don't need the added stress of people constantly asking how it's going.

1. cycle 3, 10 dpo 2. H and I are in Hawaii! It's only 4 a.m. here and I can't get used to the time change. I'm trying to be patient and not test yet. 3. Yes, I told some girlfriends. I told some because they are anxious for us to have a baby and to ask them questions.
1. Where are you in the TTC/Cycle journey? Just started cycle 5. Off to the OB today to talk about my potential LPD.
2. Any AWs/Vents/Rants/etc? I'm just sad that we are at the point that its obvious something is wrong and I need to see my doctor. I'm freaked out that he is going to say nothing is wrong.
3. QOTW (GTKY)- Do people know you are TTC? If you told people why did you? If you didn't why didn't you? All our friends know. Pretty much all of DH's friends are TTC as well and having issues so I figured we might as well share our struggles as well. My mom was just told yesterday because she has to watch DD today while I'm at the doctor. Of course her first comment was "OMG you are pregnant, right???" Ugh. No, mom, people go to the doctor for other reasons.
