I just recently found out how incredibly easy it is to ship things now. I have leftover boxes from Christmas and I was able to print the shipping label right off the website. I'm incredibly lazy and this was ridic easy.
Dude, you don't have to frame them. Pop those bad boys in a rigid (lol) envelope or in one of those long cylindrical (lol) canister thingies. I'm not picky, I swear. And I've got plenty of frames and stuff. I've got a solid wood (lol) frame at home that would be perfect!
No no, now I'm thinking I need to go a little more avant garde and make a frame out of hair. Think about it. It would be amazing.

No trip to the post office = happy me
So wait, how does this work? I hate going to the post office.
I have a mail machine at work where I can weigh the boxes. I go to usps.com and select make a printing label. It asks how much it weighs an the dimension of the box. I print out the label, stick it to the box and leave it in the mail room for the delivery guy to pick up. It even gives you a tracking number on the receipt. It's so easy. I know not everyone has a way to weigh it but if you can weigh it at home and print out the label I believe you can leave it on your doorstep to have it picked up
I'm going to go ahead and agree with Cville. Watching to see who flakes is almost half the fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed it every year, including the year I did not get a gift. It is a win/win no matter what happens.
I'm definitely signing up next year. I haven't decided if I'm going to flake on sending my present, or falsely accuse my SS of not sending one. Maybe I'll do both.
