An AE made 2 posts making fun of a posters bangs

The poster being mocked (Sakelp) just had a baby so people jumped all over the AE (PP Hormones!!!11!!!)

JJ somethingorother called the AE a faggot and then started a s/o post saying she didn't know that was bad

Ellie deleted the OP and said that the AE was a reg

Cue several multi-page posts asking for the AE to be revealed.

AE is revealed. Cue multi-page post about the reg who was the AE

The AE was Dowager Countess.

Ellie could tell who it was because they have the same IP address. At the request of the board, Ellie emailed her identity to the ML mods.

ETA: Look, we've known from the very first when this board was created that IPs could be tracked and/or compared. Creating an AE in this environment is very risky, especially if you're a heinous AE or have a regular persona. Hence why dumpster baby never followed us over in that AE.

It was a judgement call. I wouldn't have done it but I'm not mad at you for it.

I'm only mad that others have been have used AEs to sling shit and not been outted and regulars have been harassing and are walking away unscathed.

So I guess that wasn't all I had to say after all.

I do think it's a bit hinky and sets a bad precedent though so idk.
